Melancholic Evening

"Oh, Miss Ina!" Tia welcomed the pale woman. The latter wondered why we hung around the front yard of her master's house. I explained a bit what happened, all the while readying myself as I expected that she'd burst.

…Surprisingly, she retained composure. In fact, she did not show any signs of anger towards us.

"I see. I do not think it is ideal to discuss this matter further here. Knowing Ryza, I believe she has arranged a place for you people to stay in Master Euclase's inn. Let us head there."

And so, we went to an inn in the village, which doubled as an eatery. Having seated, we explained the details of what happened, and I apologized personally for my wrongdoing.

"…I think I have a clear picture now. You need not apologize to me. Honest be told, I, too, would come to the same end of thought as you, Sir Zal, that is if I had no idea who Ryza is."

"I'm sorry?"
