I'm an Automaton, That's Right!

Tareth's sudden appearance squinted my eyes. In the holographic screen, I saw him wandering around the temple as if searching for something… or someone. Though full of wonders, I didn't think he's here for me. I never told him about this place before. My eyebrows lowered. It struck me as odd.

"Do you know him, Zal?" Miss Ina asked calmly, all the while staring through my pupils.

I understood why she looked at me in such suspicious stare.

"Uh-huh," I nodded. "That's Tareth."

"Yes," Asfi nodded. She saw the hatted man through my shared vision. "His full name is Tareth Estrella, A-rank adventurer. His origins are unknown, but he is among those who helped defeating the Vector."

"Yeap. Though, truth be told, I've got no idea why the heck he's here."

"Tareth Estrella, huh… I know he is an A-ranker judging from the platinum badge, but… Are you sure he's not here for you, Zal?"
