Chapter 3: Otherworldly wonders

"Ah, Boom…" George crashed down from the sky, falling into a forest but fortunately not bopping into any trees on his way down.

"Ouch, cough, cough…" George winced in pain as he began coughing a mouthful of blood.

The broken limbs, dragon form George, slowly reverted to human form. As his gravely injured body shown, George's inhuman regenerate abilities began its work, fixing his body back to its normal state.

As George got up, from the pit hole he created while falling from the sky.

Looking around George, started pondering on what just happened to him.

"Dam it, I had to expend so much of my soul to escape that death trap. I estimate, I lost more than 3 quarters of my soul accumulations. 3 centuries of nourishments, almost all gone in an instant. Curse you damn it, be you the universe itself or something else, mark my words I will make you pay." Thought George angrily at all his losses, cursing the perpetrator.

To truly comprehend the anger George felt, one has to understand how important of a role soul power plays for vampire.

Soul power is a kin to an engine. It turns George's temporarily excessive energy from nourishments into personal strength.

Having to result at expending his strength indefinitely to get out of a bad situation really frustrated him to no end.

Vampire's strength, work different from normal, as George's strength could be expended indefinitely.

This could be viewed as another vampire weakness, but it could also be viewed as a strength, too. Since from another point of view, he could grow infinitely stronger.

"What's done is done, there is no sense in crying about it." George was such a person, as he never dwelled on the past, always looked forward to the future. This did not mean he had forgotten and forgave, as his hatred for his perpetrators did not disappear. No, this hatred will only grow stronger, until it's payed back or lashed out at the unfortunate, if his unable to exact it.

"I got tossed out, in the middle of nowhere, so this must be a different worl…ahhh" George was speechless the moment he properly looked around, as he found himself flabbergasted. He was aware that he was most likely in another world, but what he saw was beyond anything he imagined.

Giant herbs; corns, beans and mushrooms on his left. humongous fruit Like apples and oranges on his right. In front of him were all kinds of herbs and fruits, with some he had seen and other he had never seen before, towering higher than trees. Looking behind him, curious about what could be there. George was welcomed by a grass field that glowed, emitting a green mysterious light.

Far away on a tree, he could see what looked like a squirrel and chameleon hybrid. With 8 eyes, 12 legs and a tail, perfectly blending with the tree, as it looked his way.

3 meters, beside that same tree, George could see a deer built like a rhino, with a rocky exoskeleton. George watched as the large animal ate grass, something that did not suit its size.

"Hehehehe…." George laughed menacingly as he licked his lips, joyful after finding new food he never tasted. Dragging his vision at the wonderful fruits and mysterious herbs, but soon brought his eyes to focus on the 2 animals once again, as he smiled.

"Boom" George's foot cracked the ground as he began flying, travelling at the speed of 104km/h. 8 times faster than the speed of a normal man, moving at the speed of a cheetah.

Quickly arriving beside the hybrid, George grabbed it in one hand, as he stopped while floating in the air and looked at the large deer built like a rhino provokingly.

In front of it, George drained the straggling hybrid of its blood and life force with his left hand as the hybrid rapidly turned into a husked corpse.

Watching what George did, the exoskeleton deer, felt provoked, as it screamed, not once but twice. The first scream was out of shock and fear and the second telling the strange flying human to not provoke it.

Hearing the screams, George's provoking smile grew wider. As he slowly floated close to the exoskeleton deer. Arriving 15 inches from it, George stopped.

Seeing the human dare get close to it after it warned not to, the exoskeleton deer went mad and attacked George. As it charged straight with its head, using its thicker horns than normal.

The smiling George watched the exoskeleton deer charging towards himself, but stood in place calmly without any worries. Stretched his right hand, at the same time dropping the husked hybrid on the ground, so he could block the incoming attack with both of his hands.

"Boom" the two made contact, as the exoskeleton's thick horns pierced and went through George's hands. But was incapable of pushing back George as they both stood in the middle.

"Hahahahahaha" The hands pierced George, started laughing hysterically, instead of wincing in pain, showing his masochist tendencies.

"it's my turn," said George with a wide smile, as he began rapidly draining the blood and life force out of exoskeleton deer, quickly turning it into a husk corpse too.
