Chapter 4: Otherworldly wonders, part 2.

"it's my turn," said George with a wide smile, as he began rapidly draining the blood and life force out of exoskeleton deer, quickly turning it into a husk corpse too.

"Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp…". George watched as the large menacing horns that went through his palms, piercing his hands. Crumbled to dust as the husky exoskeleton deer fell down.

"Hmm,?.".

Easily killing the exoskeleton deer, George was puzzled for a second as he soon began smiling smugly.

"Trash, helplessly struggling against the inevitable. The weak are nourishments that shouldn't struggle, yet it' their futile struggles that make what I do so interesting." George said while smiling, hypocritically forgetting he too was helplessly struggling, as he was almost killed not too long ago.

….

Fallowing the famous saying, understand one and you know them all.

George soon began gauging this new world's strength, simply just after defeating one of its creatures.

Using his clash with the exoskeleton deer as reference, George soon began assuming the world he found himself in strength. Not long after, George concluded this new world to be harmless, posing no real danger to himself.

His comparisons showing he could deal with the best and strongest this new world could offer, with little to no effort.

Easily defeating the enormous exoskeleton deer without breaking a sweat, George analyzed the strongest creatures to be no different. As he assumed them to be just some other oversized creatures like the deer and the plants, his train of thoughts leading him to assume this world maybe just the same as his old one with just things being a lot bigger.

This world's best will also be dealt with just as easily, George thought. As his conviction was solidified because he was sure this new world was much less technologically advanced than his previous one.

….

His previous world's space institution's last satellite before the 3 centuries of bloodshed was revolutionary, the ps22 (project satellite 2022).

the satellite was capable of exploring the universe on its own, as it could relay data back.

His former world's ps22 had travel the universe for hundreds of years, came across many worlds but never came across any other life form, much less outer space technology belt by other worlds. The people of his world had long concluded that the existence of other life forms in other worlds may be plausible, but other more technologically advanced species was impossible.

This logical analysis by his former world deliberately implied to George that this world's best, its intellectual inhabitants would be even less easy to be dealt with than his world's people.

Before long, George began thinking he would in the near future, rule this world too from the shadows. While he causes mayhem as he collects blood and life force.

As George thought of the suffering he would ensue from what he would do, his heart started beating fast as hot blood circulated all over inside him. His face becoming red as he began to breathe heavily, very soon, an infatuated face that could cause shivers to even the most indifferent of men appeared on George's face.

….

Some time later, George turned back, as he flew towards the green glowing grass. Calmly lending down in the centre of the glowing green field. George kneeled down as he placed both of his palms, that had healed completely on the ground.

"Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp…"

George began draining the green glowing grass of its life force, as by the end, the hall field of grass had turned dry and yellow. The green glowing light emitted previous nowhere to be seen, as the life drained yellow grass seemed no different from usual dead grass.

Shortly, George began feeling energized, the likes he never felt before. He felt his soul force increase like he would usually after draining life, but George also felt something else.

Something he had never felt, as difficult to explain as food he had never experienced before.

As George felt something inside him open, something a kin to finally seeing after exiting darkness or hearing after exiting an isolated shelter with no sound, as George had a hunch he had opened a six sense.

Having an inkling he could feel a new energy, one as natural as wind or water that he previously did not felt before the glowing grass's life energy absorption.

Something George could feel, but not hear nor see. An energy familiar and yet unfamiliar, but George disregarded it as he gave it no second thought. As he was too used to these voices in his head and hallucinatory feelings, his mind would make up.

….

Presently, George rose up, floating.

As he started flying towards the gigantic plants; fruits and herbs he had seen earlier.

In the air, George soon approached the tallest thing in the nearest vicinity, an 11 foot tall flower. The flying George stopped in midair to take a closer look at it.

Looking at the flower, George could tell it bared a huge resemblance to a rose, but this flower seemed colourless like water. Around it were flowers of the same kind, transparent as they could be seen through, like the larger flower.

Seeing the flowers, a childish smile with innocent curiosity slowly began to appear on George's face, glamoured with the fact he could see through the alluring flowers.

The curious George soon stretched his hand, wanting to touch the tall flower. But as soon as his hands made contact with the flower, George felt his soul shocked. And shortly after feeling his soul shake, George felt the flower starting to absorb his soul.

Rapidly responding, George soon began absorbing the flower in turn using his inborn vampiric ability.

Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp….

George drained the flower's life's energy, as he quickly regained his lost soul force and went on to absorb the flower's too. Turning it into a husky drained flower, as it suffered the same fate as the hybrid and exoskeleton deer.

After he had fully absorbed the flower, George began laughing hysterically, as he felt….

euphoria?

George had unexpectedly loved the feeling of his soul being drained, as he could feel death approaching him.

Feeling the sweet cold lips of death herself on him, as George's soul shook from being drained.

The happy George, then began to cheerfully touch the smaller flowers one by one as he absorbed them.

Continuously making physical contact with the strange flowers, George had started to feel intoxicated.

The urge was so intense, by the time George had finished draining them all, he had begun to feel sexually aroused by that feeling.

….

After calming down his nerves, George began to think back as he realized that absorbing the flowers felt as though he hadn't absorbed anything. George had felt it while he was draining the large flower, but wasn't sure since he was busy absorbing his stolen soul force from the enormous flower. But as he continued to drain more flowers, although they were less substantially bigger, he had noticed it. He felt as though he had absorbed empty air, as this made George stop smiling.

….

George is a person who is often happy, as he can always find the best in things to put a smile on his face. Little is there in the world that gets him to stop smiling and fewer is there that makes him angry.

And not gaining more life energy from absorbing all those flowers is one that puts his smile out.

Completely over shadowing his euphoria from before.

Disappointed, George moved his gaze from the flowers, setting it on what looked to be corns.

After George flew closer, he could see them clearer, the 6 foot tall plants that bared a huge resemblance to corns, sharing a similar epicarp as regular corns.

Flying even closer, George started peeling one of them, but as soon as he did, an invisible gas was quickly released in his face.

George began to feel drowsy, as he rapidly felled from the sky.

"Boom" George crashed down, as he began to feel an overwhelming tiredness and fatigue he had only felt while he was still human. But George resisted the tiredness as he bit his lips until they bled.

But just then, "Boom, boom, boom…" 3 fire balls came flying out from a bush, deep in the forest as they hit George. And as the flames burnt him, George turned into a charcoal body.

From the bush came out a small fox, as it jumped. The fox cub had white fur and golden eyes, with 3 energy circles, orange and floating on top of the little fox's back.

The small fox slowly started to walk towards where George's corpse was…
