Imperial Academy

Immolating flames danced around. The heat pressure shot up and Blake instantly knew that this heat was non other than the [Divine Flames] which the Underworld Groove depicts. It could cook one instantly into ashes and not one thing anyone would do to escape the radiating heat...

But no, Blake had already sensed one of the horsemen's intention's before it would even happen.

One of them actually have a link to the fire god and the divine diety, so using one of it's enchantments, they were able to call forth the immolating flames.

But before the Flames could burn and scorch on them, Blake held Jotham instantly making him to halt in one of his attack moves.

Evie and Tera on their own part used their ability [Soul Shield] plus their magic to cover themselves like a cocoon from the immolating heat.

Blake then, slide into the shadows. But as the divine flames continued to burn, the attributes from the divine flame began to deal a great damage to Blake's and Jotham's soul. He felt the pressure, that deadly pressure which felt like the flames were burning him from the inside instead of burning from the outside. So the pain still remained excruciating as though his body was actually on fire.

"What in the world?"

Blake wanted to run now, but the harrowing flames plus the weak gravity caused by the medalion or amulet. It was hard to run.

"Damn witches, do something we are practically burning on the inside."

Blake found himself yelling on the top of his voice.

Tera's head immediately snapped and she broke off her cocoon shield. Only to be delt brutally by the harrowing flames but then, before Blake and Jotham could completely have their souls destroyed, Tera worked her magic and in the next minute, everyone of them, Jotham Evie Blake and she vanished out of thin air. And as per her powers could reach, they materialised right in Dusk-e-Lake.

Dusk-e-Lake was filled with dried and almost dead trees. Due to the numerous massacre and so much harvestation done by either the heirlocks or Duke Ferilando, the land now looked scanty. As though no form of life dwelled in there. As though life was extinct in this particular world. Wild wind passed almost every minute and that had them turning to see if there is danger looming from above.

They all dismissed their weapons.

Blake rubbed the silken garment in which the gods handed down to him. The harrowing flames had already burnt it almost beyond recognition and right now, he was unable to recognize that this garment was pure white. The seams around it seemed loose and it looked as though any little pull and the garment would come off.

Blake sighed feeling a bit disoriented because of the much soul damage he recieved from the immolating flames back in Ruithe Ville.

"I think that guy has a link to the Underworld Groove. For him to have such divine flames in his possession."

Blake uttered non-chalantly his eyes roamed about.

"Yeah, is he perhaps an Immortal?"

Evie asked.

"Maybe a CrestFallen like us."

Blake uttered with a shrug on his shoulders and Jotham's eyes narowed suspiciously.

"Hold on kids... don't tell me that you have been blessed by the gods."

Jotham's expression had disbelief in it and Tera sighed.

"Yes... we indeed are blessed. We recently conquered the first trial and the second one is actually on the first night of Autumn Cholie. Which is three weeks from now... actually, two weeks and four days."

Tera said and Jotham was surprised to the extreeme.

"Then what are you doing here?"

He asked.

Blake was not fund of funny questions but seems like Jotham was asking one.

"Of course... we came to look for you. We had thought that you needed our help to escape the heirlock."

"You shouldn't have wasted your efforts son. You know that I am not going to let those diseased locks hoist me... I escaped on the day they enslaved me. You three should be at the Imperial Academy."

Blake's brows bended sideways.

"Imperial Academy? Why so?"

Blake asked and Jotham cleared his throat.

"Did I tell you before that I am a Transcedent. Blessed by the gods already. I have achieved so much in the last fifteen years to get the power and class that I am now so, I personally didn't bother reaching the last stage [Immortal] I did not have the time... but, you guys don't you have any idea that the Imperial Academy will only prepare you for the Second Trial. The second Trial to become a Bloodbane isn't easy. It took me exacly two years to complete it so... "

Blake was wide-eyed.

"Hold on... you're Transcedent? That's the last class. You should have evolved it to become fully immortal."

Blake was speechless.

"Son, you don't know how it feels to be put in a nightmare. These three actions occuring on daily basis. Wake up, struggle and die, only to wake up again. I just couldn't bare all those months of relentless pain. Those years of undulating nightmare, even though it would give me the last glory. I was scard."

Blake was surprised by what he was hearing. Jotham, scard? It was so shocking and disbelieving.

"Ok guys... comon, let's get you going to the Imperial Academy."

Jotham said and the trio walked out heading to the boundary between Dusk-e-Lake and Scarlet Hill.

Evie stared at Tera knowing that Scarlet Hill was where Tera's dad was probably waiting there for her so she bumped softly on Tera's shoulder.

"We would go see your dad sooner. Do you know where the ancient collosseum is? I mean, he might still be waiting. Don't forget, rogue witches have so much patience."

Evie said and Tera nodded.

"When we get there, I will let you know."
