Broke Free From His Arms

The man didn't answer, just a smile on the corner of his lips. There was no warmth in his eyes, and he didn't seem to regret what he had done. Eva raised the corners of her mouth too, but her smile sounded like a sign of impending doom. She raised the hand holding the necklace and stabbed it down on the man's forearm. "So, you're a professor? I feel sorry for the students who look up to you."

The man did not speak, nor did he flinch from the pain. Eva sighed and stood up. "You know, you don't have to act. Looks like you've got some nerve damage." The man looked at her in surprise. He rose from the ground as if he hadn't been shot or stabbed at all. "How did you know?"

"Your eyes say it all," she answered him nonchalantly. There was blood on different parts of her body, but she didn't mind at all. "You're a tough guy." The man didn't speak and sat on the empty chair beside him. He's the only one of all enemies standing because of nerve damage. He feels no pain.
