Wife Eats her Husband

The cold wind is, by far, accompanying them as they walk to the house where the incident took place. They can eye now Enoch's house, which has its windows covered with banners. Over there! Many villagers greeted them as they enter from the gate, 'Good-morning, 'Good-day!', they cried.

Due to Sonn's prescription and warning, the villagers did not dare to touch the house where the two zombified villagers are imprisoned. Sonn told them that it is a disease... a viral and highly contagious disease. They were anxious because Sonn's description of that 'highly contagious disease' was beyond the hyperbolic truth. He even told them that 'the house is infected' and 'touching the house may turn you into zombie'. At least, some form of ignorance could help.

And it happened as they are nearing the house, Stacia spoke in weary, trying not to have an eye contact between them,

"I think i will not able to handle seeing it again." She expressed, looking preoccupied. "I will go harvest any crops that is necessary - as you've told us." Her verbiage confirmed that she was not willing to witness again the petfrifying tragedy where she, herself, was subjected. So as she said, they stopped for a moment and affirmed with understanding.

"It is, indeed, traumatizing for her." Civilly pronounced Simoun. "You may talk to the villager and ask them, 'what can i do?'. For everything starts from them." He added.

Noel asked, too, for their pardon as he was uncomfortable. He, then, went with Stacia, roaming around the village. Alexandrovna was with the two main proprietor for the case highly piqued her interest. They walked as Stacia and Noel were out of sight. And there they were. . . ready to uncover the sanguineous house with some of the villagers attended. Under their surveillance, Sonn commenced removing the banners each-by-each. As Sonn did so, the golden but moderate sun rays gradually fillled the room, revealing a hideous, red-bloody room. Sonn was puzzled, but he continued to remove the banners.

[Crrrrchhhh] Crunching sound and odd zombie voices were suddenly heard, leaving them in terror. But still, he continued to wholly uncover the windows. And at last, it was revealed! . . .

How nasty, hideous, and spine-chilling what was revealed!

"AHHHH!" The villagers who were watching them glimpsed at the scene and shouted! The three stood before the terrifying scene, bursting them into horror - the cold sensation traveled among them.

At the very corner of the room was Jane (Enoch's wife) crouching like a wild cat, nibbling her husband's arm! Enoch was collapsing on the ground and devitalized. The bone from his arm is now tangible as the flesh was viciously consumed! Although they were both zombies now, they stood as to appear that Jane, a zombie, was devouring her husband who was in condition, zombie too! Cannibalism it is!

Because of the brazing yells, Stacia and Noel went just to see the occurrence. At the stiff part of the village stood Cosco carrying Enochy, son of Enoch. Stacia stood after them and stared in nothingness - she was paralyzed. And out of  trepidation, Stacia ran. Noel followed her who was also trembling scared, leaving the three in their damned discovery.

It was it when Jane, the zombified lady, saw them beneath the golden rays, she looked behind and seeing them, she rapidly approached! She was hitting herself by the window, raging in amok, trying to get them - then the window was covered by blood. And as she was striking herself grievously, the three stared at her in excessive pity.

"Sonn! Cover it back!" Simoun cried! He, Sonn, and Alexandrovna followed Stacia and Noel to their house.

"All! Do not touch this house! I am warning you!" Sonn called and told them.

They ran rapidly, getting to their main-house, managing the situation for they saw how traumatized Stacia was. And the three opened the door, seeing Noel calming her while she was packing her things in panic. Their entrance did not hinder Stacia - she continued panicking, going to and fro the room.

"I... I am terrified." She timidly said, sweating. She perished enough to stay. "I must get out of this village... I.. I will go with you tomorrow, Alexandrovna." She added as she was on behalf of fixing her things up, as if she were ready to go.

"No. You can't, Stacia. Your mother and father died last last month. What would you eat there? I can't sustain you. But here, you may succeed into your vocational path and please, i beg you, stay." Alexandrovna impeded her, clasping her hands closed and stopped her from packing in panic. She firmly argued. Simoun, with Sonn and Noel, stepped in. He told Sonn to go back and manage the village, put it into tranquility, and promise them safety. Sonn did and went back to the village.

"Stacia, stay with us. We will protect you." Simoun softly expressed to her. They made Stacia seat at the table, and they bestowed their presence to make her sure that everything is under control.

For someone like Stacia, to just see and witness a pig getting slaughtered is hell. Try to conceive her sentiments when seeing a wife ruthlessly consuming her husband, relishing over his blood. No one would love to witness the scene - it was not a game-like scene. . . The gore has entered and the spirit of darkness has made commencement to the era of agony towards the village.

Hopes were dying. What hopes do they have? They will soon vanquish. . . and he who persevere will relish.

* * *

"You will be one of the proprietor of this village, Stacia. You will be..." Simoun said. "Enochy, Enoch's son... I will adopt him." And at last, he declared.

Stacia would stay... She will live with them - Simoun, Sonn, Noel, and she will fight against darkness.

And they were at the table. That was their last supper with Alexandrovna for her departure tomorrow was certain. In their main house, there was no enough bed. But they laid a carpet where they could sleep together.

Such an occurrence would be remarkably terrifying but the party will show their strength and so bestow their unity. They will profoundly know each other, soon. At last, Simoun introduced to his party the emerging plan of their adventure - He and Sonn will go to the Nether to find the cure for, at least, Jane's infection. They will soon live. . . and he who quits perish.
