Into the wasteland

La Coasta with a bruised face and swollen eyes rushed out of the house like the world was ending.

He barely saw clearly. Everything has turned double in his eyesight. Blood licking from his nose and the corner of his nose.

And being a weak young man, he knew if he didn't find a safe shelter. He will surely meet his doom.

Coming out was the group of young and old people that accosted him with their mouth aghast.

What the hell!

Seeing the half of the villagers, La Coasta stop for brief seconds. However, when he saw the unfriendly gaze amid the villagers and the heavy footsteps after him.

He followed his instinct and took the only escape route. He heard a shot behind him, but he didn't care to check. His chest was rising and falling.

Sweat and blood fell from his body while the pink bra dangled on his neck like the national flag.

"Where to. Where to?" He murmured with half an open eye.

The heavy footsteps after had increased. He knew what that meant. He knew the villagers won't stop until they caught him. His savior won't be able to save him this time around.

'Why am I so careless? I should have gone to an obscure place.' He regretted it.

"Stop running. You don't have a place to go."

"If you stop and receive your punishment. We won't kill you."

Hell! He knew death was the only thing waiting for him. He may be weak, but not stupid. He decided and rushed toward the village exit.

"Don't let him go!?" A voice screamed.

La Coasta didn't know which voice was that. He had almost cuckolded almost half the men in the village.

But they did not catch him like today. He knew how to play his game. Alas…

The two young men by the wooden wall looked at the enormous people chasing after the most useless young man in the village and rolled their eyes.

All of them were males.

What the hell was going on? Did he steal all your wives? They thought.

Yet, the two guards sprang into action and rolled the wheel. At once, the heavy wood gate began to close.

However, La Coasta was already a couple of feet from the gate. Seeing this, La Coasta pushed himself to the limit.

Seeing the rows of notification before him didn't make La Coasta flustered. However, when he set his eyes on the reward. He cursed all the generations of the system.

'Bullshit! What kind of reward and penalty is this?'

'System, are you adding to my misery?' He cried in his heart.

Ding*

[Host must know 1 point is enough for your motivation.]

[Your misery has yet to start. Wait until I blind you.]

Hearing the cold monotone of the system in his head. La Coasta shivered and with one usable eye. He pushes himself to the limit. Only a small space was left from the gate to close.

He jumped forward and rolled on the ground. He escaped out of the gate by an inch. And a loud echo resounded from his back.

Bang!

The gate slammed on to the ground, generating a cloud of dust. La Coasta didn't stand up from the ground. His chest rose and fell as he looked at the yellow sky.

La Coasta was still under the thrill of his narrow escape when he heard the rumbling sound of the gate.

Hmm!

He rolled his and groaned. He turned his head with some difficulty and looked at the gate going up. He saw rows of many feet and shivered.

'Why can't you let me go? I didn't steal your wife.' He cried in sadness.

[Host must be faithful. Though you didn't steal their wives. You cock hold them.]

La Coasta almost puked out blood when he heard the system's monotone voice. 'Are you not the one responsible for it?' He complained and sprang to his feet.

He looked all around and saw nothing but desolations. He had never been out of the village since his parents brought him here when he was young. Fear gripped his heart.

Where would I go?

The question never occurs to him under the adrenaline to escape, but now. He realized.

'The Byport wasteland village is a no-go area.' He sighed and looked at the unending yellow sand on the horizon. The chilly wind makes his skin prickle. He shivered, lost.

He had been in the village for the past 8 years. Now, he had to leave his comfort zone with furious men on his tail.

Creak!

The gate was half opened. Time was ticking away. He knew had to decide. Which way should he take? Various rumors came from the hunter teams about how dangerous the wasteland was. But now…

La Coasta was looking at it for the first time and his leg turned jelly. Panic was an understatement. His heart was hanging in his throat. Sweat dripped from his forehead and his single eye blinked.

'It now or never.'

With a black knicker, bare chested and a pink bra dangling on his neck. A young man raced into the unknown wasteland. Thus….

The legend of La Coasta was about to begin.
