Barrette shivered and his body was damped in cold sweats. He was straight ahead and all he could see was the hills and misty smoke. He knew his chance of outrunning La Coasta was gone.

He took a deep breath and halted his track.

"Though I decided to run from you, that doesn't mean I'm scared of you." He said with the last bit of confidence in him.

"Really?" La Coasta's voice echoed beside his ear, sending a chill down his spine.

Barrette turned and saw crimson eyes directly before his eyes. Shit! He cursed and took a couple of steps backward. His heart raced when he realized he didn't know when La Coasta appeared behind him.

"Don't kill me? Please…."His last bit of confidence had been shattered when he stared into his crimson eyes.

"I-I will do anything for you. Please don't kill me." He begged with tears in the corner of his eyes.
