2. I'm Not The Only Player?

Karan then began his journey to search for other wolves, executing my order.

For me, I'm still trying the other menu and see what can I do with it.

For the [shop] menu, I couldn't find anything for now and there also a time count down that said it will refresh after the count down turn to 0.

I look at the count down and it shows '6D - 23H - 50M'. I assume it as 6 days, 23 hours, and 50 minutes left.

As for the [Resource] menu, it's empty for now but I think it should be the same as treasury.

As for [Miracle] There's nothing inside it right now so I still don't know anything about it.

For [Bestow] it literally the meaning of me bestowing something to my champion.

I already tried it by bestowing a bottle of water to Karan but I can only do it 2 times a day.

The last one is [Offering] where I can took out the offering that my champion offer to me and there's no limit with how many offering I want to take from the window.

I also found out that I couldn't use [Command] to frequently as it has a daily limit of giving 10 free commands each week and only 1 free command each day.

After I found out about the command limit, I tried to remember how many times have I talk to Karan using command and in total I had use it 6 times.

I look at the free commands I have left and there still 5 more chances but I from now on I should deliver what I want to say using 1 command.

I also found out that I could move my screen away from my champion and use the mouse to check the surrounding area.

But I could only see the area that Karan had passed before while the for the area that Karan hadn't pass was hidden with thick white fogs.

The area that Karan has passed before will be cleared from fogs but after Karan and his wolves leave, the area become gray out and frozen while the area where Karan is present become colorful and alive.

I keep watching Karan for the next two hours and within those two hours, Karan has found 4 wolves and he successfully tamed it all.

With the addition of those 4 wolves, the pack now has 6 wolves in total, still short of 4 more members.

As time pass, I become bored and decided to play with my phone instead.

After another hour passed, I heard a knock on my door, so I stood up from my comfy gaming chair and opened the door.

I look at my guest and it was actually my twin, Quinna Astraea.

"Get change to something fashionable, we're going out."(Quinna)

"What? Just go alone, I don't have time to go out."(Wilhem)

"You are playing games all day long so what do you mean you don't have any time!? It's more like you have to many times to spare but you are to lazy to go out, just say the truth. Argh, just get change already, it's dad order."(Quinna)

After she said that, she left immediately.

Our relation could be said to be normal.

Sometimes we get along, sometimes we argued a lot and when she's on her period, she will always get mad at everyone, except our mom.

And if I'm not wrong, this week should be her time of month and that's explained why she was so irritated at me just to tell me to get change.

Why didn't dad send a message to the family group?

I opened my messenger and realized that he already did but I forgot that I turned off my phone notification last night to focus speedrunning my game.

And since I'm the only one who didn't reply back to day message, they knew that I didn't read it yet so my sister came to tell me about it.

I look back at my computer screen and thought that it won't be a problem if I leave them be for a while since even though it's been 3 hours, Karan haven't finish the task yet.

Is it that hard to find a wolf inside that forest?

Ah, I should tell him to be careful while I'm away to put my mind in peace.

Change of plan for today, since I need to go out, I used one of my command again to instruct him to continue taming more wolves and to be careful to not get spotted by the human of that world.

I also asked him about why does it take him that long to search for wolves and he answered that because the forest he currently in was actually the habitat for bear types beasts while the forest where the wolf type beasts live is located 20 Km to the north and can be reached in 2 days word of walk.

But to go there, Karan needs to pass some human outposts and the risk is to high for that, so the only alternative to go there now was to circle around the human outposts and it will take the minimum of 2 weeks to get there.

Karan main destination was actually to go there as well as his hidden settlement was also located inside that forest.

He came to this side of forest previously because of a mission to send a message to the bear beastman settlement inside this forest.

He was chosen because he was the quickest among the other wolfman and he also can tame wolves which can help him avoid humans as their sense of smell it very sharp.

After I finished changing my clothes, I went down stairs and enter the living room.

Inside, all of my siblings has already done wit their own preparation and I was the last of them.

from the oldest, my big brother Liam is sitting at long couch together with my big sister, Selena watching TV.

My twin sister Quinna is talking to someone with her phone at the corner, while the youngest of us five, my little sister, Sharine is sitting on Selena lap.

I look around but fortunately I didn't spot my parents there, that means I'm safe.

My parents hate tardiness the most after all.

I got late to school once because I stay awake all night to play a game and they immediately banned me from playing any games for a month, it was like hell for me.

I sit on one of the free couches and play with my phone while waiting for my parents.

As I played with my phone, I found an app that I haven't seen or install before in my phone home called CBR.

I thought about for a moment and immediately knew what that app was about.

Champion Battle Realm or in short CBR.

'What more can this game do? Show the game screen out from the air?' I thought in my mind.

But it seems the system can read my mind because as I thought that line, the game screen really shows up in front of me.

'Damn, this is starting to scare me a little bit.

Since I was a cultured person, even though I was scared at the start, that feeling has already replaced by my excitement.

Well, who won't get excited when you somehow got a system and a follower that treated you as a god?

The thought of 'will this game system can make me strong?' or 'can I travel to another world and rule it as a god in the future?' make the scariness of this game away.

Not long after, my parents came home and they took us to a luxurious restaurant.

I asked them the reason why we come here as even though our family is rich, we're not spendthrift and even when we the children want to buy something, we need to get our parents approval first.

Dad told me the reason we come here was because he was invited by his best friend when he still in college to his daughter sweet sixteen birthday party.

Well, I don't really mind some free food so what's the problem.

It's not like it's my first time going to a party.

So we attend the birthday party and I got acquaintance with the birthday girl.

Her name is Petra Garvild, and it turn's out that she also like games so we hit it off as a friend, nothing more.

We talk a lot about games after that, and without realizing I already finish all of my foods and drinks so I went to get more.

The one thing I never expected was that when I went to get more food, I bypass someone that was busy with his phone but I got a glimpse on his phone and I was surprised as I recognize what he was playing.

It was the same unreal game that I just played today.

But I didn't stop there and keep walking as I don't want to make him suspicious.

I got more food and took it back to my family table and continue talking with Petra.

At least I know that I'm not the only player in this world now.

I remembered the man face and stop looking at his way anymore as he started to look around when he felt my gaze.

In the middle of the party though, I got a notification, not from my phone, but in front of my sight.

A row of words just appeared out of nowhere, surprising me a little bit.

[A quest has been completed]

I told my family that I need to go to the toilet and then I access the game in there.

I don't want to get found out as a player after all.

I still don't know a lot about this game and I don't want to make a variable that could hurt me.

The game said to put my life on the line to play this game after all so I need to be vigilant.

I opened the game on my phone as I found out that looking at the game screen on the air gave some restraint on my mind.

I opened the quest tab and accept the quest reward.

[Congratulation, you have received the Low Rain Miracle]

-Rain Miracle : You can make the area 1 Km surrounding your champion rain for an hour.

I moved on from the reward and look at Karan.

He currently have 14 wolves around him, 4 more than what I ask for, that's good.

I noticed 1 of the wolves has different fur color which is fully white while the others were all grey.

I will ask Karan about it later.

I look at the quest tab again, and this time there are 2 new quest.

1. Task : Expand your pack

Requirement : Have at least 100 wolves under your command (14/100)

Reward : 1 Grade-Up Scroll

2. Task : Start of your Conquest

Requirement : Destroy 5 human outpost (0/5)

Reward : Life Potion 1x

"Well, I these quests won't be completed any time soon, I will order Karan to travel back to his own settlement as his priority for now."(Wilhem)

Using one of my free command, I tried to speak to Karan from my mind, just experimenting if it possible to do that or not.

'Good Job Karan. For your next goal, I want you to expand your pack until it reach 100 in numbers, but still put your priority to go back to your settlement as your first priority. Good luck on your journey, my champion.' (Wilhem)

"God Valethar, this humble servant will do as you wish, Thank you for your direction." (Karan)

Karan said in a loud voice while looking to the sky, replying at me.

The experiment is a success, I could use command by speaking inside my mind so from now on I don't need to spoke it out.
