“I don’t like that new guy on campus. He strikes me as one of those rich playboys who preys on innocent girls,” Reginald told his girlfriend.
“Really? He just seems smart and goofy to me. I spent a whole afternoon with him and he was a gentleman. He understood all those finance terms I told you I was having trouble with,” Eve said shrugging.
Reginald frowned, his heart squeezed uncomfortably. He had met Lamborghini Dude earlier and the guy had been smug and condescending. It had been annoying because he couldn’t figure out why the guy was being so smug.
Reginald watched his pretty little girlfriend steal a pickle from his sandwich. She always stole his pickle. She refused to put them on her own sandwiches.
After the first year he was over it and just loaded his sandwiches with extra pickle. She never seemed to notice until she was done eating his pickles. Then she’d trade him hugs and kisses for pickles, that was probably the best part.
“Reg?”
