51. Cracking Façade

"Send my wife and sons in." His voice had a threatening edge to it. His office door burst open seconds later. 

“Daddy!" Jeff ran to behind his desk to where he had just risen from his chair.

Little arms hugged his legs. He picked the boy up and gave him a bear hug and kiss. Putting him down he did the same with Michael. 

"Hello, boys! Did you have a good day today?" He asked pleasantly.

Jeff nodded vigorously while Michael shook his head and sat down on one of the chairs opposite his chair.

Eve put a hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze before removing her hand and smiling at Troy.

A huge grin grew of its own volition on Troy's face. "Hey, lil mama...looking amazing as usual."

She blushed and smiled. "Thanks, Troy. Their bags are in the foyer, Yeukai didn't want them cluttering your office."

Troy nodded. "Let's take them to the car while we walk your mum to her car boys." The amusement in his voice was heavy.
