54. Cheaters are us

That is how Troy found them each caught up in their own mind thinking things through.

He grinned hugging Ritah and then his brother. They both looked at him like he was crazy. Troy handed over an A4 envelope to Ritah.

She opened it and read the contents twice. Her head began to swim, and she breathed in and out rapidly to stay conscious.

"You know, I really would like to thank you for making me sign that antenuptial agreement." Troy grinned with glee.

Trent watched the two. He recalled the anxiety his brother had had placing his signature on a document that basically said if either of them cheated on the other they would walk out of the marriage with what they came into it with.

Trent had urged him to do it if he really loved Ritah. It literally meant that Ritah would be left with nothing but the clothes on her back. None of them had ever envisioned a moment like this.
