Chapter 98

Benjamin and I went to Taytum's house. Her Mother wasn't pleased to see us. "What are you doing here?" Vida asked. "We're here to see Taytum" I said. "Haven't you caused enough damage already? Haven't you hurt my daughter already?" Vida asked.

"I didn't mean to hurt her, I swear. It was an accident. I came to apologize" Benjamin said. "You're not going to see my daughter, you monster" Vida said. Benjamin looked hurt. "Vida I'd have you know that..." I said to Vida but Taytum rushed to Benjamin and hugged him.

"Are you alright? I thought... I thought I'd never see you again.... Thank goodness you're alright" Taytum said. "Did... Did I hurt you?" Benjamin asked. "I'm fine... I'm sorry I ran away" Taytum said. "It's fine... I must have scared you yesterday but would you like to come over tomorrow?" Benjamin asked.

"No... My daughter goes no where" Vida said. "I'd love that... See you tomorrow Benjamin" Taytum said. Vida wasn't happy but since her daughter said she'd come, Vida couldn't protest.

Benjamin and I returned to the Castle. "So? How did it go?" Diamond asked. "It went well..." I replied. "And the girl?" Diamond asked. "She would be coming over tomorrow" I said. "That's good" Diamond said. "I'd be in my room if you need me" I said as I went upstairs.

The moment I got to my room, I laid on the bed staring at the ceiling. I slowly drifted off to sleep. I slept for a while, I saw Nari in my dream. "Lilith... You promised me something. Don't make me regret helping you" Nari said. I opened my eyes in shock.

"Shit... I can't believe I forgot something so important" I said as I rushed down from the bed. I need to give Nari my blood. I ran to Diamond's room.

I knocked softly on Diamond's door. "Come in" Diamond said. I entered the room. "Lilith.. It's you. What's wrong? you didn't show up for dinner" Diamond said. "I was a bit tired so I fell asleep" I said. "I understand... Anyway what brings you here?" Diamond asked.

"I was wondering if you could help me with a bottle... That's as small as my pinkie" I said. "What do you need it for?" Diamond asked. "Um... I just need it store something" I replied. "Something like what?" She asked again. "For the love of Christ Diamond I just need the bottle for something" I said.

"Alright... It's by the shelf" Diamond said. I went to the shelf and found alot of bottles. "Why do you have so many bottles?" I asked. "For potions" She replied. "I see" I replied. "What about you? Why do you need the bottle?" Diamond asked. "For an experiment" I replied

"I see" Diamond said. We both laughed. "What ever it is your doing don't take long and don't let Damien realize that you went out" Diamond said. "I wouldn't take long" I said. I sneaked out of the Castle. I went to river with a knife in my hand. I slit my wrist and I allowed the blood to drip into the bottle.

I made sure I took two bottles so it would be enough for Nari. When both bottles where full I made sure I sealed it tightly and I threw it in to the river. "That's my end of the bargain Nari" I screamed. I watched as a hand caught both bottles and pulled them into the river.

I decided to return back to the Castle but I had a bad feeling that someone was watching me. "Who's there? Show yourself" I said. Five men came out from the shadows. They looked at me like I was some kind of snack.

"What do we have here?" A man asked. "Seems like this little kitty went too far" Another said. How do I get out of this? They're probably going to eat me tonight and it's all Nari's fault. I closed my eyes to accept my fate. I felt this presence, it's a mixture of death, anger, power and authority.

I seen this smell before. I opened my eyes, Damien was standing in front of me. "Who is this punk?" One man asked. "Hey.. This is our kill... Go look for yours somewhere else" Another said. Damien stood there in silence, I could feel the intensity of his anger.

Someone charged at Damien but Damien didn't move and inch. Damien snapped his fingers and the man's body exploded. Part of his body came falling down, his heart landed on my feet. I quickly stepped back. "Who's next?" Damien asked. "Who... Who are you?" A man asked.

"I am the last face you'd ever see before you die" Damien said. I've never seen this side of Damien before, he looks like a completely different person. "You've made a terrible mistake by playing with the devils property" Damien said. Damien snapped his fingers again and their bodies exploded.

Their blood touched my face, when Damien looked at me, he looked like a beast. My heart began to race pretty quickly, is he going to kill me next? I slowly looked on the ground, I saw heads on the floor. I had no idea Damien possess such power.

He can make someone's head fall to the ground with a snap of his finger. There is alot of things I don't know about Damien. He moved close to me but I collapsed due to the shock.

I woke up the next Morning, I stood up from the bed and went to the dinning. "Good Morning" I said. "Morning? This is pasted noon" Silver said. "You've been sleeping for a long time... I thought you wouldn't wake up" Sylvester said. "Where's Benjamin?" I asked. "He's with Taytum.... I think he enjoys her company" Silver said.

A maid walked into the room. "I'm sorry to interrupt but King Damien summoned you Miss Lilith" The maid said. Everyone looked at me. I cleared my throat. "Tell him I'd be with him shortly" I said. The maid left, I went to my room to brush my teeth.

I walked down the hall, I saw Diamond coming my way. "Didn't I tell you not to take long?" Diamond asked. "I know but..." I said but Diamond didn't let me finish. "Lilith you would be the death of me" Diamond said as she left me.

I wonder what Damien would do to me. I knocked on his door. "Enter" A firm voice said. I entered his room, I saw Damien staring outside the window. "Good Afternoon Your Majesty" I said. He didn't reply. "What were you doing outside last night?" Damien asked.

"I was taking a stroll" I said. Damien looks at me, the way he's staring at me gives me a weird feeling. "Don't lie to me" Damien said. "I'm not lying, I went out for a stroll" I said. Damien pushed me back, I hit my back pretty hard against the wall. He pinned me pretty hard that I couldn't move. "You have five seconds to start explaining" Damien said

"I told you the truth...." I said. Damien held my throat firmly, I couldn't breathe. I tried to break free but I couldn't. "Damien... You have to let go. You're hurting... Me" I said as tears fell down my cheeks. Damien let's go. "Lilith are you alright?" Damien asked.

What? Now he's asking if I'm alright? Who is this guy? He looks like a completely different person. "Leave me" Damien said. I'm confused, he sounds strange, one minute he asks if I'm fine and the other he wants me to leave?

Who is this guy? I didn't disobey cause I didn't have the strength to argue. Who knows he might throw me out the window if I disobeyed him. I walked out of the room knowing fully well that I almost died today.
