"LET HIM GO!!!" I screamed. There was a sudden explosion. Everywhere was covered in smoke, I had no idea where Ixia and Haniel are. I ran to Benjamin, I untied him and we both ran outside.
We both ran pass that same scary painting, which means we're not far from the gate. We ran down a stairs, then we found the gate. The only problem that's standing in the way of our freedom is the beast that lay fast asleep.
"Miss Lilith..... I'm scared" Benjamin said in a shaky voice. "Look at me, everything would be fine.... All we have to do is pass through that gate and then we would be free" I said. I held Benjamin by the arm and I led him towards the gate but he stopped.
"Miss.... Miss..... Miss" Benjamin kept saying. I looked at him and I could see fear in his eyes. "What is it?" I asked. Tears began to roll down his cheeks. I don't understand what he's saying but he kept pointing at something behind me.
I turned around, there was a scary monster behind me. It was so huge, it looked like a tiger with sharp fangs. It roared so loudly that it's a miracle I didn't go deaf. Benjamin was shaking shaking in fear. I remembered Haniel saying the gleamor can smell fear from a thousand mile away.
It began to attack us, it hit the ground so hard that Benjamin and I lost our balance and we fell to the ground. I looked at Benjamin to see if he was alright before looking at the best.
I was shocked cause the gleamor no longer looks like a tiger, it looks more like a giant bat, with huge wings. "Miss Lilith" Benjamin said in a paniced voice. Wait let me get one thing straight, it changes its form from time to time? It made its way to Benjamin, out of reflexes I picked up a stone and I threw it to the gleamor which made it mad.
"Over here monster!!" I yelled. I finally had it's attention. I gave Benjamin a signal to hide while I deal with the monster. Benjamin hid behind a rock, now that Benjamin is safe I need to figure out a way to tame this beast.
The monster made its way to me, I ran like heck. "Well I don't have a plan B, now what?" I asked myself. I tried to avoid it, I looked behind me and I was surprised to see that I wasn't been chased by a giant bat anymore but a gorilla.
"Could this day get any worse?" I asked myself. The monster caught up to me, it used its hand to hit me. I flew to the other side, I hit my back hard against the wall. I tried to stand but I couldn't, I looked by my right I saw Benjamin shaking in fear.
I looked at the monster before me, it seemed to be getting stronger by the minute. Then it hit me that the gleamor draws it strength from fear, which means the more Benjamin becomes scared the more powerful the gleamor becomes. "Benjamin you have to be brave" I said to Benjamin.
"I... I can't" He replied. "Yes you can, you have to be. The fear is in..." I said. Unfortunately for me the gleamor grabbed me by the legs and it flung me like I was a peice of paper. I still don't know how I haven't broken a single bone.
It roared so loud. "Benjamin please you need to find courage" I said as I tried to stand. "But... But" Benjamin said. The gleamor ran to Benjamin. I picked up a large stick, I hit the stick on the gleamors head.
If I survive tonight, it's gonna be a miracle. The monster looked at me in anger. "Oh shit!!" I said out loud. The gleamor picked up a giant rock and it threw it at me. I ran so fast, the rock flew pass me. The rock shattered the moment it hit the wall.
I looked at the monster again and this time it has changed its form. I don't know what creature it looks like right now but from what I could tell. The gleamor is ten times taller than me, it has a scary face, it skin is pitch black and it also has alot of teeth.
"You have got to be kidding me right now" I said. The monster looked at me straight in the eyes. Then and there I knew it meant business. The monster ran to me in the speed of light, it hit me so hard on the stomach. I flew to the wall, I hit my back pretty hard against the wall that I could see cracks on the wall.
"How am I still alive?" I asked myself. I coughed out blood from my mouth as I stood up. "That's it, no more mr nice guy" I said to the beast in anger. I don't know what came over me but there was this sudden anger I had, I can't explain but it was like a switch had been flipped on.
The monster came to me, I punched it very hard that it fell to the ground. I feel like a superhero right now. It stood up again, it seemed weak. I went to it and punched it over and over and over again. The monster became so weak that it couldn't stand.
I hit a stick so hard on the wall, it broke in two. Each end of the stick was sharp and pointy, I ran to the gleamor, I was about to strike it with the stick but I saw a vision. In that vision I saw the gleamor with it's kind. It seemed happy but they were attacked by Ixia and her men.
The gleamor was separated from its child. I just realized that it is a female, so all she wanted was to see her child. Ixia kept her here as a prisoner? I immediately snapped back to reality. I let go of the stick and it fell to the ground, I moved closer to the gleamor. I stretched fort my hand, it seemed scared.
"Hey..... It's okay, I wouldn't hurt you. I promise" I said in a calm tone. The gleamor came close, she placed her head on my hand. I smiled. "I'm happy we've come to an understanding" I said. "Miss Lilith?..... Are you alright?" Benjamin asked.
"Everything is fine" I replied. Benjamin came out, he saw me petting the gleamor. "Would you like to try?" I asked. "Nope.... I'm good" Benjamin said. I looked at the gleamor with a warm smile on my face.
"Now I understand you. You're not a monster, you're a mother who's missing her child..... Now you're free. Go and be with your child" I said. It stood up, we both looked at each other before it walked away. "Miss Lilith won't the monster attack us?" Benjamin asked.
"Nah, she has found freedom" I said. Benjamin and I walked out of the gate. I heard a sound, I looked behind. I saw Ixia's men with bows and arrows. They were like one thousand men pointing their arrows at us. "Miss Lilith what do we do now?"
