The Boss

Brittney stands completely steel not Letting any part of her body touch me, she doesn't utter a single word either but I could tell her neck and back hurts from the standing position she's using. She constantly turns her neck and sighs.

" Are you ok?" I asked

"Fine." She replied.

"Ok, so why do you hate me so much?"

"Hate you? You're not worth hating, you're a nuisance and a pest, you keep bugging me and I keep seeing your face everywhere I go, I mean don't you have something better to do??" She said then sighs.

The alcohol she's been taking made her truthfully express herself without sugar coating one bit of it, she was also on the verge of getting drunk.

"I think it's all just a misunderstanding and a coincidence." I replied.

"It's not a coincidence, the biggest shit of all is being partners with you. I..." She throws up on my jacket. "I'm sor..." She passes out and leans on me.

"Funny girl." I take of my jacket and uses it to clean her mouth and shirt then I carry her out of the closest.

"Woah, she passed out didn't she" Andy said.

"Yep..." I replied.

"Place her on the couch."

"No need, I'll take her home." I replied.

"Home?" Andy said then looks at everyone like something was up before looking back at me "are you sure?"

"Yeah yeah I'll grab a taxi."

"Ok bro if you insist."

"I'll drive you guys." Megan added.

"Oh no need for that, don't ruin the game because of me." I said.

"Nahh, I was here cause of you anyways, no point in staying if you leaving." She grabs her jacket. "Come on."

I carry Brittney to Megan's car , I gently place her in the back seat and sit with her.

"So  you know where she stays right?" Megan asked.

"Yeah I do."

"Know who her dad is?"

"Yeah I do, he's the leader of the black cross gang."

"And you're not scared of going to drop his daughter off like this? All passed out?"

"No I'm not."

"Okies."  She said with a smile.

Megan couldn't tell if I was blinded by love for Brittney or if I was just brave or just a complete idiot but either ways it made her love for me grow stronger.

Megan packs a few distance from Brittney's house. "Be careful" she said as I carry Brittney out of the car.

"Always, will be back in a flash." I said then walk to the front gate. I press the bell on the gate. After a few seconds, a man in suit opens up.

"Who are you?" He sees Brittney in my hands. " Why do you have the boss's daughter?" He quickly takes her from my arms and goes in, in an  instant two other men in suit grab and pull me in. They take me to the boss.

I'm forced to kneel, i see Brittney on a couch with a man with big belly holding a wine in his hand, rub her hair.

"What happened to her?" The man asked.

"She took more alcohol than she could handle."

"I see." He said then takes a sip from his glass of wine. "Who are you?"

"I am woody, one of her classmates."

The man laughs then turns to me.

"Thank you for bringing my daughter home safely." He takes a close look at me eyeballs to eyeballs. " You do not have a single atom of fear in your eyes, must have had a tough childhood growing up." He offers me a hand and pulls me up from the kneeling position I was in. " I hope to see you again, my daughter's friends are always too scared to come to where she stays but you're not."

"No sir, I'm not." I replied.

"Good." The boss turns around and signifies one of his guards to see me out.

The guard leads me out, on my way out I turn back and I see a guy standing and looking through the window, it was for a brief second just before the guard makes me look forward. He leads me out of the gate and I see Brittney standing by her car worried.

I walk to her. " I'm back and in one piece."

She hugs me. "I was so scared😩"

We get in her car.

" Hungry?" She asked.

"Yep."

"I know just the right place but before then I want to show you something really cool." She said as she drove excitedly.

Meanwhile back at Brittney's house.

"That kid gives off the scent of an assassin." The Boss's most trusted body guard (Boyka) said to him.



Boyka

"Not entirely but yes he does have the eyes of a killer" The boss replied.

"Should i investigate him?"

"No, we have more pressing matters to attend to and I certainly don't want you anywhere near my daughter's school, that will draw too much attention not just to my daughter but as a lethal weakness against me."

"So what do we do boss."

"Ian's house arrest will end next week and will resume school at once." Sips wine. " He will be the one to investigate and find out what he can about the boy."

" Yes boss."

"Good, take Brit to her room, have some maidens clean her up and tuck her in for bed. Also find a new vet to attend to the dogs, the old one has been disposed off for letting Caramel die." The boss said.

Boyka carries Brittney to her room and instructs some maidens on what to do.

Back to Megan and I . We arrive at a tattoo shop.

"Taddaaaa!" Megan exclaimed.

"You want to get a tattoo?" I asked.

"Yep, it's my third one. C'mon."

I sit and watch Megan get a tattoo on her wrist. After thirty minutes plus, she gets up and shows it to me.

"What do you think?😚" She asked.

"Woah..." I said as I am speechless, it is *MEGAN X WOODY*  designed with loads of love. " It's nice" I said.

"I know right. Now let's go eat."

We leave the tattoo shop and head to a shawarma spot, I've never taken shawarma before so it is exciting. We sit and a waiter comes to us and ask how we want our shawarma.

"Chicken, double sausage and extra creamy." Megan said.

"Make that a double." I added not knowing what to do and I didn't want Megan knowing I've never taken shawarma before.
