ADAMOS
He gazed at King Elaon with an incredulous look. "War?"
It has been his principle to keep Edin free from conflict since he sat on the throne. How could anyone accuse him of a bloody war? Adamos swallowed as his throat suddenly felt painful.
Just then, he recalled how King Nerasmos reported him to the Emperor even before he went there. Is he talking about the hail cannon? They must have heard how they fired it again and again.
"But it is primarily intended for hail," Adamos explained.
The Emperor nodded with his hands flailing in the air as he gusted, "That is what I told him, too."
"I believe King Adamos would never do such a thing." King Elaon offered a deep sigh, his face pinched with a thoughtful expression. "King Nerasmos was just probably using this as a golden opportunity to break King Adamos away from Edin's throne. He was blameless from his reign until now."
