The first beast roared while the other large beast stood at the back nearly watching, it still underestimated it's prey.

Zoom who was near it was below it's stomach area, he was aiming how bow upwards without the beast's knowledge.

'If only I had a X-ray skill I could see and shoot it's heart or any vital organs!' Zoom sighed, he decided to look for this kind of skill sometime in the future.

For now Zoom aimed at where possible vital organs were possibly located using a average lion's body as reference.

While Zoom was contemplating the charging beast was approaching Ciel and Nico.

Nico wore leather armour while holding a wooden stick that was half a meter long, he stood in front of Ciel gripping his staff with both hands then raised it, after using a skill he slammed the staff to the ground, the staff's bottom tip crashing on the ground creating a transparent yellow barrier shaped like a shield in front of him.

The shield had a length of four meters with a meter and a half width.

The beast charging was closing the gap, once it was near it's agape mouth widened, it ignored the barrier as a cheap trick and crashed violently towards it.

Boom!

The beast slammed head first to the barrier, the barrier received large cracks but was still as sturdy, the beast backed up regaining it's senses.

While this happened Zoom who was below the other beast shot an arrow upwards, it pierced through the vulnerable parts, Zoom aimed estimated where the gaps of the ribs were located.

Pew!

His shot pierced through the chest area, the arrow's trajectory was a little off hitting a rib bone weakening the arrow shot, the arrow didn't pierce as deep and the beast jumped in surprise.

'S***!' Zoom cursed, he dashed to the side to avoid the beast who was now falling to the ground after the jump.

Zoom aimed another arrow while the beast was in the air.

'You can't dodge while in the air!' Pew!

The arrow shot through the chest area but once again it hit a rib, Zoom wanted to shoot at the beast's eyes but it cleverly looked the other way.

For now a total of two hundred points of health was deducted from the beast's initial one thousand health points.

Boom!

After landing the beast pounced at Zoom who was trying to arrange for another shot.

[A Looter's Movement]

Zoom dashed to the side, the semi invisible aspect of the skill was ineffective since the beast was fully focus on Zoom, it was now serious.

While Zoom dodged the beast's pounce he couldn't dodge the incoming tail that slammed to his side, Zoom used his arm to block the attack but he was sent flying hitting a tree.

[-40 HP]

Zoom dislodged himself from the tree before landing on the ground, he took a glance at Ciel and Nico thats when he thought.

'Nico's playing healer?! I thought he would play ranged or melee like almost every time, I should have asked him!' Zoom was dumbfounded, for the first time Nico played healer, but with leather armour!

Zoom shook his head before running to Nico and Ciel.

The beast didn't ignore this and followed Zoom, the beast who first attack Ciel and Nico has now regained it's senses, it turned to look at Zoom who was running towards it.

The beast saw the opportunity and ran towards Zoom, drool leaked from it's mouth while you could see the hunger in it's eyes.

'Well f***, what a pain.' Zoom forced a smile and sighed, he continued to run towards the beast.

Once they both were near the beast leaned downward to eat Zoom but Zoom slid below the beast narrowly dodging it's mouth, with his dagger he sliced through it's stomach area dealing a severe blow.

After losing the sliding momentum he stood and ran to Nico and Ciel.

The two beast were enraged and chased after Zoom, they jumped together and pounced towards the trio.

Zoom turned his head back and saw the scene.

"Please save me!" Zoom hoped Ciel and Nico had something up their sleeves or their all doomed.

"Hahaha don't worry!" Nico using one hand he slammed the staff's bottom tip to the ground twice, the shield glowed brighter as the cracks slowly disappeared.

Boom!

The two beasts simultaneously crashed to the shield, they both fell to the ground dizzily.

"Here's our chance! Shoot!" Zoom shouted, Ciel looked at him before nodding, they both shot as many arrows and bullets as they can, they mainly aimed at the belly or chest area while sometimes hitting the vulnerable facial areas.

The beasts wriggled violently, Nico wasn't left out as he shot white beams that came from his staff's tip.

The beast's were left with below half their original health, they both roared causing large amounts of energy to form a shockwave launching the trio off their feet.

"I can only use my shield one last time!" Nico shouted.

Zoom was stunned, he hoped Nico could cast the shield twice or hopefully three more times but I guess three shields was his limit.

He looked at Ciel.

"I don't have a skill for the pistols but if you give me a sniper..." Ciel said, without hesitation he threw a sniper towards her, it was a tier two sniper and black in colour, it had similar features to the pistol Ciel wielded.

Zoom had forgotten to store his items to a storage so he still had the items he looted on him.

Once Ciel caught the sniper she aimed it to one of the beast, they were both charging towards the three.

"Nico use your shield!" Zoom commanded, Nico soon followed and casted the shield.

Zoom aimed his bow before.

BANG!

A loud bang erupted, Zoom looked at the beasts and saw one of them limped to the side, it slightly wriggled but blood leaked from it's many wounds.
