BANG!
A loud bang erupted, Zoom looked at the beasts and saw one of them limped to the side, it slightly wriggled but blood leaked from it's many wounds.
He turned to where the sound first emanated which came from Ciel, he looked at Ciel who was now on the ground, the sniper on her side, the recoil of such weapon dealt significant damage to her.
She had barely any health left and was on the brink of dying, blood spilt from a wound on her shoulder where she held her sniper.
Nico immediately healed her with the little bit of mana he had left, he did the same for Zoom fully healing them both but ignored himself.
The other beast who was standing looked at it's partner who was limped on the ground, the beast breathed heavily while a pool of blood surrounded it.
The sniper bullet pierced through it's eye and past it's skull, Ciel used all her stamina and mana for that one final attack.
Though the damage wasn't as great since it was only one hundred and fifty damage but the bleeding effect was what dealt the most damage.
Roar!
The beast who was still standing roared loudly before ran towards Ciel, it's eyes were red and fur turned red, it's white claws and teeth turned blood red.
"I don't have a shield!" Nico shouted.
Zoom aimed at the beast before shooting an arrow, Nico also pointed his staff at Ciel ready to heal her once the beast landed it's attack.
Roar!
The beast swiped it's paw throwing Ciel to a nearby tree and leaving three deep and large wounds on her upper torso.
Pain was bearable but it still struck her.
Pew!
"I only have little mana left Zoom!" Nico shouted, he casted a healing skill on Ciel helping her gain some of her health back.
"At most two more heals!" Nico added.
"We can still clutch this as long as the three cubs don't interfere!" Zoom shouted.
The beast's next target was Nico, it's speed was rapid as it dashed side to side avoiding Zoom's arrows.
It swiped it's paws throwing Nico with ease just like Ciel.
'S***! I have too much loot I should've stashed my stuff!' Zoom was crying within but still remained calm.
He looked at his inventory, he scrolled furiously skimming through the pictures of the weapons.
Spears, arrows, crossbows and much more were stored in his inventory, but what caught his eye was a tier two grenade-like item, he retrieved it from his inventory.
[Tier 2 Frost Explosives]
It was roughly half the size of his palm and was blue in colour, he held one on his right, he clenched his palm tightly before getting into position to throw it.
After throwing Nico, the beast was now eyeing Zoom, it dashed towards him in a straight line.
'If you dodge I'll throw a second explosives on where you try to dodge.'
Trying to predict the beast's speed Zoom threw the explosive a few meters in front of the beast.
The explosive was small yet the beast easily perceived it, it hopped the side avoiding the explosive.
Boom!
It was quick and loud, a blue dust cloud enveloped ten meters around where the explosive landed.
It quickly dissipated and the surroundings became blue and frozen, the green grass and large brown roots that shot up from the ground became frozen in seconds.
"I got a present for you! A second grenade!" Zoom threw another explosive on his left hand, he threw it up lightly.
Roar!
The beast faced the explosive which was a few meters below it, the explosive blew up and the beast's legs were covered in ice, slight frostbite where covering bits of it's face.
It landed and slightly slipped, it was trying to get a grip and stand properly.
Using the opportunity Zoom grabbed his bow which was now on the ground, he took out an arrow and pulled the string.
Pew!

Roar!
The beast who was shot in the face roared in agony, it furiously moved towards Zoom but it's frozen and slippery legs refused to do so.
'Just a little more!' Zoom shot a few more arrows and hit the beast, the beast jumped and once he landed broke the ice.
The beast was low on health points and it's speed was slower than before.
'Argh! I don't have enough stamina to use a movement skill!' Zoom cursed, the beast opened it's mouth ready to eat Zoom before.
Boom!
The beast's back legs fell and the beast tripped, white chained held down the beast, in the distance was Nico and beside him was a large and tall armoured knight made of light, on it's hands were chains that were connected to the beast's legs.
"QUICK!" Nico shouted, he was being drained of mana at an awfully fast rate.
Zoom who was looking at Nico turned to the beast lying on the ground in front of him, he unsheathed his dagger and jumped forward lunging himself at the beast's face.
He held tightly to it's fur trying to not fall off, he stabbed multiple times at the beast's eyes blinding the beast.

Zoom's stabbing speed slowed down before he stopped fully, he let go of the beast's fur and fell down on the ground.

Nico and Zoom's eyes widened as they turned to where Ciel laid, her body was now gone and turned into particles.
'I guess we have to cancel our trip to the stone steel ravine, ha...' Zoom thought, he approached the other beast who was bleeding in the distance, he pulled his bow and shot an arrow.
