Once they logged in the whole family had gathered together.
"Wow it feels so realistic! I feels no different from the real world!" Adrienne said in a cheerful tone.
"How do i get a class?" Damain was scrolling around on his status screen.
Ciel proceeded to guide the two new players.
And after a bit of learning they were able to learn the basic mechanics of the game and after that was settled they went on to regroup with all the members of the guild at a nearby bar.
Using coins they paid extra for a private room to discuss in.
"It's been a long time since we've met aunty and uncle!" The members of the guild went on the greet the two.
"Yes it has, i'm happy to be working together with you guys again." Adrienne said.
The all sat down and ordered some food and drinks.
This was the whole set up of the guild.
Ciel was the leader with the officers being Damian, Adrienne, Zoom, Nico, Kass, Gazel, Mitsi, Quin and Eclipse.
It was a small guild yet these few members are elites who have been playing in countless games similar to this game.
"First let's think of a goal, we should start small and work our way up step by step." Ciel said, with small goals the guild can focus on taking than one step and not be easily distracted.
"How about we first recruit some members for the event for now and we can soon think of making a base." Gazel said, it was a good goal, they first did need members for the guild to be able to expand more.
"That's right but i have tried recruiting players but it was harder than i thought, the Skylark guild and Earth Monarch guild were the ones who were able to recruit players the most, the players mainly want to join guild which are already established and strong." Ciel said.
It was true, a small guild like them that didn't have any benefits were not enticing for the players who easily ignored Ciel and went for bigger and more beneficial guilds.
"We don't have a foundation, we should first try to spread our name out." Kass said.
"That's right but how? Any suggestions?" Ciel said.
"How about the event, we can try to shine brightly during the event and spread the name of our guild!" Mitsi said.
The event was a good opportunity to shine, firstly they had to level up to be able to showcase their strength.
"The average player level right now is twenty, we need to reach an above average level to do anything flashy that will get the attention of the players." Gazel said.
"We can farm in as a group, we have already reached level twenty six and we can help power level you guys by just clearing beasts at the Giant's Dungeon." Mitsi said.
"Thats wonderful, thanks for the help Mitsi." Ciel said.
"Were guildmates now its normal to help each other out." Mitsi said.
"Then onto the next topic what benefits can we give to new players?" Ciel said.
That was a good question, what benefits can a guild give to a player.
What persuades a player to join a guild is the benefits it can give and without benefits the chance of a player wanting to join is slim when they can join another guild with benefits.
"A base is a common benefit a guild can have, because the territory around it can be a farming spot for our players." Gazel said.
"But to secure a base we need to first be strong enough to make and defend a base." Ciel said.
"We can start the levelling process later and we can decide on a base later on once we find something suitable, or does anybody have a suggestion on where we can plant a base?" Gazel said, though Zoom had something in mind he didn't think they could plant a base in such a good area.
"How about funds? For us to even be able to make a base we need money, and lots of it too." Gazel said.
For a small guild like them, money indeed was a problem and its not like grinding 24/7 could do much.
Killing beasts and selling their bodies and cores could only do so much.
"How about we buy herbs for a low price and concoct pills and potions with it?" Zoom who normally was silent most of the time during such meetings actually gave out a good idea.
"Right, players right now don't really know much about concocting pills since they don't have recipes and they sell those herbs for a low price near the gates!" Gazel said.
Players currently had no use for such herbs with guilds still on their way to recruit potion crafters and train them, but currently NPC's are buying herbs in large quantities but they have yet to notice the large amount of players selling herbs near the gates of the cities.
"But do we even have recipes? And who can craft them?" Ciel asked, that question made the room silent, basic potion recipes were still expensive for the guild.
"I learned some pill recipes so I can craft them." All eyes turned to Zoom, they didn't expect for Zoom to have learnt pill recipes.
"That leads us to our next problem, the guild has no funds, even a single coin we don't have any." Ciel said.
Without funds how were they suppose to buy herbs and craft pills with them.
"How about we donate some of our money, it'll be an investment to our guild either way." Quin said, her soft voice making others feel much more eager to donate some of their wealth.
"Currently each of us have thirty-five thousand, how about ten thousand, excluding both aunty and uncle? I don't think that's a problem right? We can just grind again, if anybody has a problem with that you can raise your hand." Gazel looked around to see if anybody thought it was too much.
But to his expectation nobody raised their hand.
"I think that's settled, eight people with ten thousand each should be a hundred thousand, I think that's enough." Gazel said, all eight players took out ten thousand coins each and placed it on the table.
Before Zoom had logged out before he had sold all the cores and body parts of beasts that was split between him and Aizen, Zoom currently had fifty thousand after he had bought a virtual device to be able to contact the clerk he bought items from at the trading centre and Zek the pharmacy owner.
"I can start working on the pill crafting now if you want, I'm already at a high level so there's no need for me to level up for now." Zoom said, Ciel nodded and she gave the one hundred thousand coins to Zoom.
"Is there anything else?" Ciel said.
Ciel looked around to see if anybody had something to say, after five seconds of silence she said.
"Since there's nothing else, we can start the grind!" Ciel stood from her seat with an ecstatic expression, they all nodded and stood from their seats and headed on their way.
The guild meeting has come to a end.
