When Luis becomes the victim of a freak accident, he learns he has the ability to control and create fire. But his fire is no ordinary fire. Unknowingly the accident brings about the creation of many evils. With the help of his best friend Stephen and others, he learns how to use his newly found powers and defeat the evils that stand in his way.

The Flames Within

"Regret? how are you so sure about that, I mean how would someone even gain the regrets of those people", Stephen said back at our hangout.


"Yeah it's very suspicious, they  knew that most people will breakdown when they see  their regrets let alone hear them", I said as I began typing something on my laptop.


"That's dubious, Luis we are dealing with a very dubious and evil person here, I've been having this thought that we should stop don't you think", He asked calmly.


"No we can't stop now, we've gone too far to stop and it's becoming even more exciting, no I won't stop now, if you want to stop you are free to but I won't stop until I find out who did this to my dad", I said as I stood up and punched the table.


"Why are you so persuasive uhhh fine", He said as he rolled his eyes and made an annoying noise.


"Check this out, remember this", I said as I sat down and showed him the screen on my laptop.


"Oh yeah I remember that, about 6 months ago right, that unknown website that allowed people pour in their innermost thoughts and regrets and" , he said as he gasped loudly at the end, "They made this website"


"Exactly, I had a feeling they must have gotten such info from a website or something and I remembered that this weird website popped up sometime ago", I said.


"I can't even remember using it", He said as he laughed.


"Yeah I know I can't also remember using this evil website that I definitely did not use", I said as I made a fake laugh.


"So now that we know this what's the next step", I asked him.


"That AI, I have to build it once we are able to build it, it'd be able to get every info about them oh and my dad said they were finding clearer ground on your dad's case and he's saying he may be released soon", Stephen said with enthusiasm.


"Wow that's great news, but I'm still gonna find out who did this, no matter what", I said.


"Heh knock yourself out", He said as he laughed at me.


I walked Stephen to the door and waved him goodbye. I called everyone in the house and gave them the good news, my mum felt so ecstatic. I went to bed feeling so happy, My dad would soon be back and things are looking rosy. Before I slept my phone buzzed as I received a message.


"Who the heck is this now, Why can't people understand that I don't have time for this", I asked myself as I switched my phone off and wore my blanket. Don't be surprised about the blanket. Since I got these powers my allergies to cold worsened a bit.
