Ah, the suffering of extras

Adelia, the one who started this mess, sat down and began to scroll down her phone. Her work here was done anyway.

Robert's eyes brightened up as he continued cheerfully, "Oh, so it's like that? Will, you love her so much! Ah, it almost reminded me of the time when I first had a crush on your father. How nice it is to be young and in love..."

"D-dad! It's not love! It's just a crush!"

He seemed unfazed as he replied, "Crushes can easily develop into love, Willy. Don't worry, you'll definitely sweep your maiden off her feet!"

The whole afternoon passed with him not so willingly getting love advice from his dad. Weren't parents supposed to be angry when their kids get crushes? Not a thing in this world made sense. Well, whatever. What else can be expected from a stereotypical novel world anyways?

Still, Willow had to admit that their story was pretty sweet. His father pursued his dad after they first got to meet at a movie premiere, it was love at first sight. Don't question it, even side characters in novels have epic love stories. Normal, what's that?

After that incident, they had some chance encounters and fell for each other. This really changed Willow's perspective about gay people to some extent. It's not that he was homophobic before, it's just...he couldn't ever imagine himself being with another man before. All he knew about them was from Adelia and her novels. Thinking about it now, Willow thought that every gay relationship has weird things like forced play, BDSM, etc...

But seems like it was his sister's taste that was weird not the actual thing. This also helped ease his anxiety to some extent. He used to shiver in fear whenever he imagined his near future as the bottom before. Blame Adelia for giving the wrong information.

Maybe it is possible. He just needs to stop his sister, make the male lead fall for him, and eureka, He lives!

Cassandra was a very normal student. Normal and average looks, average grades, family neither too poor nor too rich, she truly was the perfect extra.

Now, why did she have a name if she was an extra? Well, because she wasn't just any extra. She was a very special extra. She, the mortal enemy of the whole female population, was the extra who sat beside male god Charlie!

You must be wondering, if she was such an average extra, totally unlike a main or side character, how did even she get there? Well, it was by chance. Their homeroom teacher, Ms. Wells, is a very strict woman who didn't take crap from anybody. She treats everyone equally, be it a second-generation or a scholarship student. During the random seat assigning, Cassandra was the one who struck gold.

Yesterday, she announced that two students from class F would be transferred here. Hey, but what's up with goddess Adelia and, uh, who was that?

A reminder, in a typical novel the bottom is rarely popular despite his delicate and cute looks, and this is a very typical novel.

Anyway, goddess Adelia was here!!! Wait, wasn't goddess Adelia in Class F? OMG, please, god forbid. Calm down, she can be here for something else. Cassandra lied to relieve herself as her heartbeat sped up, the end of her time of bliss flashing before her eyes.

"Students, as I told you before, two students from class F will be joining us today. Please welcome Willow and Adelia Astor. Introduce yourself, you two."

The teacher was a woman in her 50s. Contrary to what you guys might be imagining, a kind granny was the last thing she looked like. Ms. Wells gave off the aura of a strict teacher, which she kind of was.

Oh no! It's as the very side and unimportant character Cassandra thought!

The goddess is here! It seemed like her time for spring was unfortunately over. Now she too must suffer eternal winter like the other girls. She no longer had her VIP ticket to watch the male god's perfect sculpture-like face!

Since Cassandra was well aware of her averageness, she knew what was coming next. She was simply no match for the goddess!

Adelia started first and said, "Hello, everyone! I'm Adelia Astor. I'll be in your care from now on," With a polite smile, she finished the short yet sweet introduction.

Cassandra felt even more scared now. After all, her intention was clear! Why would she transfer classes in the middle of the year anyway? It's because of the god Charlie!

Sighing, she took one last glance before quietly standing up and sitting elsewhere while the guy whom she couldn't care less about was introducing himself.

Ah, the suffering of extras...
