A certain bug ruins the mood

Nervously tugging at his clothes, Charlie waited at the place they agreed to meet up at. Taking out his watch, he glanced at the time.

Oh, there were still 45 minutes left...

To be honest, he just wanted to go pick Willow up, but this is what they had agreed upon. Appearing too eager was probably not good since from Willow's perspective, it was just two normal friends hanging out. Oh, a bug was coming along too.

It may be just a simple meet up for him, but Charlie felt nervous and giddy as if he was waiting on the altar, his heart a sweet mess.

He released a tired breath before covering his face with his hands in exasperation. "Hah...Willow Astor- Just how do you manage to make such a mess every single time?"

A smiling Willow flashed in his mind, making his cheeks go red. He slapped his face, trying to ward off the heat. Why was he like this! How was he going to make this work if he blushed even at something as little as a single thought of him!

Imagining how red his face must've looked all that time, he wondered if Willow thought he had sunburns on his face or something. It was so embarrassing!

"I hate you sometimes, Will. Only you can me so worked up like this for a simple hang out session..."

Willow glanced at his phone to confirm the place before entering the restaurant. Adelia followed close behind.

He was wearing a simple hoodie with sweatpants, something he liked to wear on weekends. They were comfortable, and looked alright...What more could you ask for?

Adelia was wearing a sleeveless sundress, perfect for the moderately hot day. Her hair was braided with some flowers which gave her a goddess kind of look. Standing together, they really made it hard to guess who was the attractive sibling here.

When he heard the door open, Charlie looked sideways at the entrance. His eyes were almost dazzled when he saw Willow. His perfect Willow was wearing casual clothes! They were loose-fit, exposing some of his collar bones.

Trying to keep himself from giving away his inner excitement, he tried hard to maintain a plain face. But...Those collarbones!

Charlie felt something roll down his nose.

When Charlie saw him, Willow felt a little nervous. Well, this guy is supposed to be his future significant other...

His face was expressionless, but suddenly, his nose started bleeding.

Can people die from nosebleeds?

Since he wasn't sure, he rushed over and grabbed some napkins from a nearby table, hurriedly helping Charlie wipe the blood.

Leaning in close, their faces almost touched.

Willow stopped for a moment. Charlie was so handsome. His lips, eyes, nose, all looked so attractive...

He felt heat creep up his ears, realizing he had unknowingly started to blush.

Is he falling for him? No, no!

It must be the Male Lead halo! Yes, that must be it! There was no way a straight guy like him would ever blush for another guy! It's all the fault of this evil novel!

Hurriedly wiping away some of the blood left on Charlie's lips, he got far away. Taking deep breaths, Willow tried to calm himself down.

"-Uh, are you okay, Charlie?"

Willow was so close! Could life get any better? If Willow was a doctor, Charlie swore that he'd get hurt everyday just to see him. Eyes shining with happiness, he told him that he was alright.

Willow released a breath in relief. Thank god the male lead wasn't going to die.

For the sake of basic etiquette and formality, Adelia also asked, "Are you alright?"

Charlie tuned, his mouth twisted in a frown as he sourly glanced at her. Way to ruin the mood, bug.

This bug was wearing some flowers on her head today, as if people needed another proof that she has got a few screws loose up there. It's not needed, bug. Your behavior already shows this much.
