4. "Let there be weights"

The 200kg Lifts seemed near impossible at this stage. Given how much the Competitors had exhausted themselves in the Previous round.

But it was the Ultimate Test of Endurance.

Shaan stepped up to begin the lift.

He stomped both his legs hard on the floor, hoping to use the strong foothold to lift it off the ground.

The Stomp gave off major main character level energy. The crowd eating up the pose.

Even the Competitors took a step back from the display of confidence.

But unfortunately Shaan sprained his foot by applying too much pressure.

He started the Lift with the Adrenaline rush, realising it too late as his leg buckled under the pressure.

The Weight collapsed on the stage sending him tumbling down. The organizers rushing to give him immediate medical attention.

After a few minutes it was announced Shaan had injured his right leg during the lift and was Prematurely retiring from the Event.

The words were constructed carefully so that Shaan wouldn't lose the crowd support due to a silly mistake on his part. Protecting his image.

But the sight of Shaan stumbling down sent shivers down Zayn's spine. He was in the same condition as Shaan. Doubt creeping in his mind.

Azyne didn't struggle much as Shaan did, learning from his mistake and carefully finishing the lift.

When Zayn's turn came, he began showing signs of struggle, forcing himself to lift, using up all his energy. He replicated Azayn's lifting technique, not knowing the conditioning needed to pull it off. He managed to do the lift, but in the process wore himself out.

Akamu came in, beginning his lift.

Everyone knew he would struggle at this stage, knowing how he exhausted himself at the previous stage

But much to everyone's Surprise, Akamu not only did the lift but held it longer than Zayn or Azyan.

They looked at each other in disbelief as Akamu did a curl in that Lift, blowing everyone's mind with his wrist Strength.

Everyone was shocked at the subtle display of Strength.

Except Kai, who remarked

"Now you've fallen into his Trap"

Those words echoed throughout the rest of the Competition as Zayn got eliminated at 210 kg.

He did however receive a standing ovation for his efforts.

Azayn and Akamu did a joint lift next.

Azayn, seeing how the crowd was rooting for Akamu, planned to repeat his trick again.

But it soon backfired on him as the crowd now wanted both of them to lift and hold it as long as possible.

Azayn realized his mistake, but thought Akamu couldn't hold long Because of his fatigue.

He slowly turned to see Akamu, expecting to see him sweating and struggling in fear.

Only to find Akamu enjoying it, showing off to the crowd.

Azayn realized he was the one in trouble as his grip slowly gave out, the weight slowly slipping away from his hands.

And so did the Title.

Which soon went around the Waist of Akamu.

Azayn couldn't believe what just happened, questioning the outcome.

But Kai knew this would eventually happen as Akamu had begun the trap at 170kg showoff.

Baiting Azayn into thinking he'll tire him, giving everyone rest so they could go past 200 kg.

It was a selfish plan by Akamu. As he felt more comfortable at a higher weight level. He wanted to show the crowd what he was truly capable of.

That's why he devised that trap to bring the Competition to his level, rather than lowering himself.

That was his style.

Using subtle body language like clutching his hips or pretending to pander to the crowd, giving false hope to the opponents.

Akamu thrived in the Heavy lifting division, knowing winning the title outlasting everyone would just make him a champion

But going past the records and making new ones would make him a Legend.

And a Legend he did become.

He continued to lift more to set records. Going past 250kg, setting a new Village Strongman Record at 270kg, eventually ending the event.

The Crowd went Wild for Akamu, waiting to celebrate with him.

The barricades containing the crowds were opened.

It was a yearly tradition for the Champion to run to the crowd and celebrate with them.

But Akamu ran into the Tents instead, to see who had won the Atlas Championship.

The Crowd felt let down, beginning to get bitter at Akamu for not following tradition nor paying attention to them, caring who won the TV Competition rather than his own Victory.

Before things went out of Hand, Akamu's Grandfather took to the Stage, explaining why Akamu was like that.
