The tailor was very nice and yet did not cross his boundary. It made him respect the middle-aged man and also think about his future and desire to own a world-recognized fashion brand.
When he was done, he smiled at his reflection in the mirror, he looked like he was dressed for an award show. He did not see the need to. He loved his casual outfits better and he was tempted to get rid of the blazer and go in the shirt alone without a tie.
He ate brunch with the boy in the main house. He did not want the boy to eat alone. They left the house followed by two other cars packed with bodyguards including the boss' closest guard.
He was sure those guards were for him and not for anyone else. He looked back at the mansion. "We will get back soon," Jason told him looking at him with his brow furrowed.
He reached towards the boy's face and smoothened his brow. "Don't frown, you will get wrinkles," he told the boy worriedly.
"Oh . . . sorry," the boy apologized bowing his head.
"No, you don't have to apologize. It is okay. You just need to avoid it," he told the boy with a warm smile that made the boy smile too.
He was forced to glance back at the house. Was he going to return to that house? He was unwilling to, he looked at the cars behind them trying to make a good plan that will help him leave forever.
He was not sure if that was going to be possible or if he was capable. He just wanted to try. Leaving will mean he will have to live in hiding for the rest of his life. He will have to give up on his dream because there was no way he will be able to live freely with the man after him.
He swallowed and rubbed his sweaty palms together.
"Why do you look more nervous than I am?" the boy laughed.
He laughed and shook his head. "Have your father ever seen you sing?" he asked the boy whose father was the busiest businessman he has seen especially someone with so much achievement like him.
He expected him to live a more leisurely life than he did when he stepped into this life. The man was busy. There were businesses he chose to handle on his own. He found it to be very admirable of him. From the man's home, he was forced to believe that the man was way richer than he was recognized to be.
"No, he has never come to my school. He said he wants me to rise on my own," Jason replied sounding like a teenager rather than the little boy he was.
Wen YanJun felt a strong urge to talk to the boy's father about that because he did not support such ideology especially when it was used on a little boy of this age.
The man has to forget for once that his son was a genius. The boy was still a child that needs to experience his childhood fully. He still hated the fact that his teenage life was stolen from him by the people who kidnapped him.
The anger and dissatisfaction he felt toward that did not ease his plan to leave as soon as he can and hide like a fugitive that he was not to avoid the watchful eyes of that man.
He only felt pity for the boy as they drove through the town. He was forced to appreciate the life he got to enjoy in his home where he was not the first son.
All those responsibilities were placed on his brother's shoulders he only needed to enjoy the love of his father and his mother who did not hold back at all.
He was not forced to do anything and they supported him when he wanted to do music and were unwilling to part with him when he wanted to leave the country.
He rubbed the boy's head with a worried look. The boy reached forward and smoothened his brow with his soft fingers. "You will get wrinkles," the boy warned sternly.
Seeing the look on his face, he was forced to laugh. The boy also laughed. He found the boy to be very pitiful that it made him hesitate and he did not want to leave. That must be because the real culprit was away and he was filled with warmth looking at the little boy's cute face.
"I wish I could make him come to watch you since he allowed me to come, he might have a change of mind," he murmured. It was hard not to feel a certain closeness to the boy enough to make him want to help him.
Stepping down from the car among the other cars around. Seeing the way, the other parents were dressed, he was forced to feel grateful to Lu Mingyu for making him dress this way.
He appreciated the fact that he did not come in his dressing style or it would not have looked good for the boy. He looked around the school premises and he was forced to swallow at the thought that it belonged to a primary school.
It was an international private school and he felt intimated by the fact that he always thought he attending the best schools. It made him confirm once again that among the rich, there were those whose wealth was superior.
The school was also well guarded. He did not feel bad about coming with half a dozen guards. He noticed a few foreigners as he followed the boy into the school.
He felt out of place just like a six-figure will feel out of place in the presence of nine and ten figures. He swallowed as he decided to focus on taking note of every door, corner, and passage. He looked back at the only guard that stepped into the building with him.
He felt that the man most hate him since he spoke to him rudely at the time, he stayed in Lu Mingyu's office and the man will most likely not let him out of his sight.
"I will go to get ready. My friend is over there," Jason told him pointing at a cute boy smiling and waving excitedly.
