Nervous boy

The little boy was so excited about his performance although he was adamant to prevent Wen YanJun from hearing the song he prepared.

Wen YanJun was worried about the boy, he wanted the boy to have the best performance a child of his age could have.

It might be said to be for fun at their age and since the boy was a genius, a little less serious fun could do him good but he did not want the boy to embarrass himself before his peers and their parent.

"Are you sure you are ready?" Wen YanJun asked for the third time since they woke up. He looked like a worried father.

He might have not taken note but these few days, he had made a strong bond with the boy through the games they played together and small talks.

Wen YanJun would never admit that for any reason in the world because he believed it was a mutual relationship, he will get something in return.

"I am, you make it sound so serious it makes me nervous," Jason bowed his head and murmured.

Wen YanJun stood up from the beanless bag chair he sat down surrounded by the boy's cute pets. The little animals he was stroking only a few minutes ago must have felt abandoned as they followed him.

"It is okay. I am just worried and there is no need for me to be worried, right?" he asked the boy as he adjusted the boy's hair. "You also could not sleep that is why we have been awake since dawn."

"I am sorry," the boy pouted and avoided Wen YanJun's gaze.

"I know you are. That is why I am worried. So, can we go back to sleep or I might sleep through the whole thing," YanJun asked.

There was no way he will not get worried when the boy had come to his room at four o'clock to drag him back to his room. The boy's father had left on a business trip as planned and he knew he was the only person the boy was willing to talk to.

The boy was not relaxed with the other adults in the house and YanJun was both surprised and pleased that the boy was willing to bond with him or he would have had a difficult time setting his plan in motion.

"Could you sleep here?" Jason asked.

"Are you sure? I think we should go back to my room. we could sleep for the next three hours," YanJun replied as he did not like the idea of sleeping in the boy's room since it was that young boy's ideal room.

There was no sign in the room that it belonged to a genius boy who had built apps and was well trained by his strict father. All those were found on the other side of the room and in the boy's study.

"Okay," the boy finally agreed with a nod.

He looked down at the cubs and dogs and thought of how he will have to go to his room with them since they kept rubbing against their legs as though warning them not to leave them alone in that room.

"I don't think you should let anything disturb your sleep," YanJun found himself worrying over the boy, he could not want to imagine the boy suffering from insomnia from such a young age.

"I will sleep now," Jason accepted the advice immediately.

"Let's get back to my room first," YanJun laughed. He rubbed the boy's head and held his wrist as they headed back to his room with the little cuties following them closely behind.

One disadvantage of having a house as large as Lu Mingyu's was the pain of walking a distance just from one room to the other. Although YanJun hated that, he still wanted to return to his room.

For the remaining hours, they had to catch on to sleep, Wen YanJun, Jason, and a few others slept on the king-sized bed snuggled against each other.

Lu Mingyu would have taken a picture of it if he was lucky enough to witness it but too bad, he was away on a business trip.

When Wen Yanjun woke to the sight, he was taken aback, like what was he doing with the cubs of wild cats, dogs, and a child on his bed. He rubbed his eyes when he remembered and moaned as he rubbed his face with his hand. He could understand why his body felt tired.

He could not enjoy his sleep with his hands used as pillows by the cuties. He was forced by Lu Mingyu to be used to using a pillow rather than being one so this felt strange to his body.

It took so much effort to get out of bed without waking the young master since the animals woke up almost immediately after he woke up. The animals got down from the bed and hurried to the door like they could not understand how they got to his room.

It was a pity that despite the absence of the master of the house, the security was still tight and the guards watched him like owls when he went to the boy's room and returned.

When he walked out of the bathroom, the boy was no longer in the room. He must have woken up and left. He felt his heart tighten when he thought of how the boy had to live without the love of a mother, he was familiar with.

He wondered who will take care of the boy although he knew that just like Ye Miao was assigned to attend to his needs, the boy had someone to take care of him. He was not satisfied with that. He concluded that Li Mingyu must be the reason why the boy was not with his mother.

Thinking back to how his mother took care of him when he was young, he was forced to feel pity for the boy. The feeling reduced when he thought of how much impact Li Mingyu had on the boy's intelligence and achievements even at such a young age.

"It is not that bad, the wealth too," he mumbled as he walked into the closet to find the cloth Li Mingyu had tailored for him. Li Mingyu was a very thorough man because the following day, his measurement was taken by a tailor and his assistant.

The tailor was very nice and yet did not cross his boundary. It made him respect the middle-aged man and also think about his future and desire to own a world-recognized fashion brand.
