The sun was beginning to drop in the sky as Josie made her way back to her cottage, arm in arm with Molly. The two chatted nonsense and were jovial, at least until the cottage came into view. The sounds of roaring and crashing interrupted their leisurely stroll and the two trotted as fast as their legs could carry them until they finally happened upon Josie's yard. She found pieces of her benches and fences slung in all directions. Josie looked on in horror as Soren did his best to detain a certain wiley black wolf that made the outside of her home into a disaster area.
“What the hell?” She shrieked. “He’s destroying everything!”
“I know!” Soren bellowed as he wrestled the wolf to the ground, barely avoiding the snapping of his jaws. “As soon as we got back, he just went feral! Been a while since–” Rakesh almost loosened himself from Soren’s vice grip, but the blond man held fast. “Been a while since I’ve seen a shift that quick!”
