Tanya's POV

"Nope." I moved my head from side to side at his expression. "I just woke up damn it!"

"I didn't say anything." He frowned at my words as we left the room.

"You didn't need to," I snorted, kicking the door closed with my butt, my hand still in his. "Your eyes said it all."

"Curse my beautiful eyes," he muttered and wiggled his eyebrows in an attempt at humor.

We were strolling down the hallway of the pack hospital. It seemed the rooms were empty as no sound was heard except for our voices and the soft thumping of our feet.

"They are indeed beautiful," I confessed and almost palmed my mouth when he stared at me in surprise. I realized I said that out loud.

"Thank you, darling." He smirked and halted to peck my dried and chapped lips. They were a bit better than when I woke as a little lip gloss and water had helped.
