Tanya's POV

I slid my fingers into my midnight strands in irritation as I glared at the Macbook screen. I had developed an idea for a new book two days ago, rather it seemed the story didn't want to grow past the blurb and prologue stage.

A week had gone by since Nathan and Nelly left Dante and me on the training field with an excuse and no matter how I tried to let it go, I found myself troubled. It was getting to the point where they were the first thing I thought about when I woke.

The image of Nelly limping was still clear as day in my mind and I couldn't seem to erase it. Their body language that day didn't help my case, add that to the fact that I had noticed they were slower than usual.

I was more bothered as the days went by and I didn't notice any improvement. They were still slow and they became more detached, bringing up excuses not to spend time with us.
