Tanya's POV

My lids flashed open in panic as I shot to a sitting position, all signs of sleep gone as my eyes shone brighter than the lights on the mansion wall outside.

'Nathan?' I called to him in question in my head as I needed the last bit of assurance before I could permit my heart to go into overdrive. As I heed no response I called again, 'Nathan?'

'L-luna,' he answered and I sighed in relief only for my whole being to go into panic mode as he continued. 'We-we need your help, please Luna.'

"Shit!" I exclaimed and jumped off the bed, nearly missing my footing as I scrambled with the duvet which had wrapped around me during my slumber.

'Hold on Nathan,' I told the boy, praying my unease and fear wasn't being transmitted through the link as his dismay and sadness were being felt by me.
