Chapter 2 - falling in love -

-At the guild-

Liddan finally arrived at the guild as he jogged all the way there. He catched his breath as he looked at the mission board looking for a easy mission he could complete solo on the same day.

"Man, they really took all the time easy ones today~"

*Liddan let out a hopeless sigh as he furrowed his brow at the fact Nashi ditched him at the last minute. Sure after what he heard from his parents, something wrong was going on with her causing her to run away from people. Even her own little brother she would drag around since the moment he learned how to walk. He denied he had a sister complex, it's just what he was born used too. He felt a bit dejected as he didn't see any missions that caught his eyes.*

"Hi Liddan! Watcha doin?"

*liddan turned to his right as he looked down to see Gina, Jays little sister starring at him. He patted her head as he smiled back at her.*

"Nothing much, just looking if I can do one of these easy ones for today.. I'm on my own today so might as well keep myself busy.."

*liddan huffed out a breath of fire as a habit he picked up from both his father and sister… it was becoming almost like a sacred family tradition now.*

"Ah I see! How about you help me train with my ice/water make magic?"

*gina offered as she waited patiently for Liddan to think about it. Gina had a huge crush on her brothers 'friend' you can say? Which was Liddan, she knew she would never have Liddan look at her like a girl of interest since she was 15 and he was 18. There's a 3 year gap in between them and she felt sad because of it. But still she wouldn't hate to give up, she still held on to the hopes of when she grows up she might catch his eye. But for now she liked spending time with her 'idol' and 'crush'.*

"Sure! I got nothing today, I'll train you in trying to make water when around fire! Alright!?"

"Aye!"

The two walked out of the guild as they went to sit by magnolias water fountain to 'train' there magic conjuring skills.

Nashi and leia had arrived at aunt levys before she had left her house. Levy looked older now as she now had long hair that was still held back in a hair bandana and wore lose fluffy clothing.

Levy was locking her front door until she heard a familiar voice reach her. She turned to only see a female version of 'natsu' running twords her as she panted and a little mini version of lucy right behind her. She giggled at how much they have grown and decided to reopen her door to get them a glass of water.

"*pant pant pant* thank *pant* you, aunt levy…. I thought I was going to miss you…"

*Nashi explained as she chugged a glass of water into her mouth while leia sat up correctly and drank sips of her water.*

"Aunty Levy? Is Gine here today?"

*leia asked as she only came to request the book Gine had borrowed from her, leia never liked her things to be shared with but Gine held a special place in Leia's heart.*

"No, you just missed her… she was supposed to visit you today and is in her way to your house right now…"

*levy explained as leia but her thumb thinking of what to do now.*

"Oh okay, thank you aunt levy…"

*leia got up as she bent over to apologize to levy but Nashi sat her back down as she yelled at her.*

"I DIDNT BRING YOU ALL THE WAY HERE JUST FOR YOU!!!"

"Yes you did, I asked you if you can bring me along remember? And you said fine."

*leia pointed a finger at Nashi as Nashi growned in frustration… she decided to let leia win this argument for the sol purpose to get down to buisness.*

"Anyways… aunt levy… has letisha began you know… the 'girl' thing?"

*Nashi awkward to ask levy infront of her little sister present tried to ask levy in the most obvious and polite way of saying 'heat cycles' that she learned dragon slayers had on a book last night she read.*

"Hm? You mean her period?"

"Gawd no! Not that, the other 'thingy' you know only dragon slayers have it…"

*levy crossed her leg as she sat on a chair thinking what Nashi said.. that's until leia interrupted and said it for her.*

"Nashi's talking about the dragon cycles that both female and male dragon slayers go through: for example 'ruts or heat'.-oomph"

*Nashi covered leias mouth as she turned bright red… Nashi knew she shouldn't have left that book out in the open in her room…*

"Oh! No she hasn't started that and I don't think she will even get it… your uncle Gajeel says that it's rare for any of the generations after the 1st to get heats or ruts since they are a mix of dragon and human. The human part would balance out the hormones.

Why you ask?"

*levy was clue less as she kept watching a fidgeting Nashi. That's when leia once again had to be the mature one to say it.*

"Because Nashi found out yesterday she started her 'heat' yesterday when she was with J-"

*Nashi growled at her sister as she covered her mouth the second time, this time it became serious as Nashi's eyes glowed a gold color… it was as if she wasnt herself.. thankfully leia didn't fear her own sister and just stayed quiet. Levy felt the tension as she tried changing the focus a bit.*

"Oh my! Is that true Nashi? I'm sorry sweetie, but is their anything you want to know about it? Is that why you came to me today?"

"Um… *cough cough* yeah… see… I don't know what I'm feeling and I feel awkward asking my mom much more my dad. So the only person I can think that knows about dragon slayers would be you aunt levy.."

*Nashi answered honestly as leia decided to walk out to give the two room.. leia felt a little bad now seeing how much this is affecting her big sister… maybe she was being too much of a pain to her right now.*

"Well… I do know a lot about male ruts.. but I don't know much about female heats, I can maybe send you over to your aunt Wendy's, she might help you as she had gone through it."

*levy explained as she wrote down Wendy's address for Nashi. Nashi looked happy now as she was finally going to get some answers to this weird feeling.. Nashi thanked levy again as she and leia headed home first to drop off leia then Nashi was heading out again to visit her aunt Wendy now.*

It seemed to Nashi that the universe was against her as she reached the address for her aunt Wendy's place but her husband Romeo answered the door as he was babysitting their child, Gretel who was barely 4 years old. He told her that her aunt Wendy had gone out on a mission emergency since she was the guilds main medic now after porlyusica retired. She thanked her uncle Romeo as she walked down magnolia's river where once her mother would balance on the edge of it.

"Nashi! Your going to fall in!!"

*Nashi jumped as she knew this voice too familiar as she turned to see a blur of black hair and white button shirt. She couldn't see anything else because when she turned she had slipped and fell into the river…. Thankfully Jay was there to swim her out of it. Right?*

"Nashi what were you thinking?! Your more of a hot head then other days!"

*jay leaned over Nashi as he was trying to catch his breath from the sudden adrenaline spike. While Nashi began to eye him at how his white button shirt was see through and can see his nice 6 pack and ripped chest.. she had to admit he was very attractive at that moment.*

"Nashi! Your doing it again!! Wake up or I'll call you a gas airhead if you keep zoning out like that!!"

*jay exclaimed as he hadn't noticed yet his transparent clothes and closeness of their faces.*

"Nashi? Are you even listening?"

"Yeah…"

"Then what did I say?"

*jay raised an eyebrow waiting for Nashi's idiocy thing she was about to say next.*

"You should strip more often…"

"What?"

*Nashi realized now what she said as she covered her mouth and have jay a old fashioned lucy kick to the gut. She scrambled up now as she thanked the gods she was a fire mage as she dried her clothes off and made a run for it.*

"Nashi! Get back her!!"

*jay ran after her as he wasn't done nagging her, and wanted to know what was her last comment all about?*

-At the Fountain-

Liddan and Gina were both sitting at the fountain as they meditated a sphere of their own element infront of them. Liddan was actually enjoying the quality of time he was spending with Gina, he felt how his sphere of fire would tassel around. It really got him in a meditated zone… until he felt himself dunked in cold water.

"WHAAAA!!!!"

*Liddan fell into the fountain where Gina looked in shock as she saw her brother and Liddan in the fountain. It was pretty funny now as both males where soaked.*

"I'm so sorry Liddan, I got to go!"

*Jay got off of Liddan as he ran after Nashi's direction. Liddan scoffed at Jay but only realized who he was running after.*

"Sorry Gina, I got to see what my sister got herself into now.. goodbye."

*liddan ran after the pair leaving a sad Gina sitting at the fountain alone.*

Nashi ran into a dead end alley as she felt her heartbeat beating fast as her flushed face still hot. She didn't know if it was the running or if it was this 'heat' she was experiencing, she began asking herself why had she run away from Jay in the first place… that's until she felt jay's breath down her neck.

"Nashi, *pant pant pant* why are you running??"

*Jay didn't turn her around as he grabbed her shoulders ensuring she wouldn't run anymore. He caught his breath as he looked down to see his translucent clothing now… he blushed as he saw what state he had been running around magnolia in*

"Jay… please leave me alone.. I don't feel good.."

*Nashi breathed out as she felt her fever worsen as she smelled his fresh scent of icy mist. It was driving her crazy..*

"No, tell me what's wrong first.. I'm here for you Nashi.."

*Jay hadn't realized yet but his focus was beginning to waver, he was breathing in Nashi's pheromones she was spreading unconsciously. He was beginning to build a fever of his own and blush, he rested his wet hair on her shoulder now as he sniffed in her scent of the fresh river water she had dried out earlier.*

"Nashi… you smell good…"

That was all Nashi needed before her eyes turned into a glowing pair of gold eyes. She turned around now as she slowly cupped Jay's flushed face and went in for a kiss.

That's when someone came in between them and pushed Jay out of the alley landing him with a oomph on his butt.

Nashi felt herself get shaken as she blinked back herself to reality.. she saw her brother with his face covered in a rag look at her with furrowed brows.

"NASHI WAKE UP! What's wrong!! And why do you smell so bad!!!!"

*liddan asked as he saw his older sisters eyes began to water then he felt her hug him with all her might.*

"Liddan!!! *sob* I'm in heat! And I don't know what's happening to me!! *sob*"

*liddan only looked at his sister with a blank stare as he got the idea a second later.. so that's the scary thing Nashi was dealing with this morning?*

Liddan managed to bring his sister home now as he explained everything that 'almost happened' in the alley to his mother. They all agreed to keep it away from natsu who would be furious if he heard that his 'baby girl' almost lost her virginity today.

Nashi decided then to stay in her room till this 'heat' passed and was out of her life.
