Study Abroad Plan

"I want to talk," said Rena suddenly.  Lukman, who was focused on the food in front of him, looked up and looked at Rena questioningly.  "I still want to go to college."  Rena continued her sentence before she shoved the food into her mouth.

Lukman nodded at Rena's words.  After the man swallowed his food, he said, "That's good.  I've supported you before.  Do not be discouraged!"

Rena was happy to receive a supportive response from Lukman.  However, Rena thought that Lukman said that because he thought Rena would continue her education in the country.  Rena doesn't know whether Lukman will still allow her to study abroad or not.

"Do you allow it?"  Rena asked carefully.  Lukman gave the question a nod of his head.

"Yes, why should I forbid my wife who wants to develop herself?  I just want you to know that matchmaking, our marriage is not as bad as you think, and also my love for you.  I will not forbid you to do many things," said Lukman, which made Rena astonished.

While feeding the food into Rena's mouth, she nodded her head.  I'm not so sure if he will let me study abroad.  Oh my God, I don't want to be heartbroken again because of this problem.  I want my goals and dreams to come true, Rena thought.

"I'm glad you're able to make peace again and accept the situation," concluded Lukman when he remembered how messed up Rena was this morning.  Rena just cleared her throat in response to Lukman's words.  "You must always be passionate about achieving your dreams, Rena!"  Lukman tries to encourage Rena again.

Rena nodded her head.  "Thank you," replied Rena.

"Where do you want to continue your education?"  Lukman asked with a raised eyebrow.

Rena was silent for a moment, she mustered up the courage first before conveying her wish to Lukman.  "To ... abroad," Rena squeaked in a slightly low voice.

Lukman snapped his fingers.  "I will always support you.  If you continue your education there."  Hearing the response from Lukman, Rena's eyes and mouth became balled up.  She seemed unable to believe what she had just heard.  Rena didn't expect Lukman to give her permission to continue her education abroad.

"Are you serious?"  asked Rena to make sure it was true. She felt that she still couldn't believe it.

Lukman nodded.  "Yes, I allow you," replied Lukman.  Rena's smile appeared so perfect on her face.  The happy lines on Rena's face can't be hidden.  She was so happy because she got permission to study abroad from her husband.

 "Did I hear it wrong?"

Lukman's question from Rena gave a shake of his head.  "No my dear, Ren.  I allow you to continue your education abroad.  Are my words still unclear, Rena?"  Lukman said with great emphasis.

"Thank you very much," said Rena who was so happy.  Seeing Rena who was so happy, Lukman was also happy.  Lukman's smile also widened.

"Finish breakfast first.  We'll talk later!" Lukman exclaimed.  Rena nodded.  After that, Rena ate her food so voraciously and excitedly.

A few moments later Rena and Lukman had finished their respective meals.  After eating, Rena immediately drank the water that had been provided for her as well as Lukman.

"Dear, today so go yes!" said Rena with a smile on her face.

Lukman, who had just put the glass on the table, looked at Rena intently.  The man seemed to be thinking, a moment later he shook his head.  This made Rena glare at Lukman and pout.  Rena's annoyed face invites Lukman's laughter.  Lukman likes Rena's behavior, who sometimes gets angry but suddenly can be like a small child packing.

"Why are you laughing?"  asked an annoyed Rena.

Lukman stopped laughing.  "You're funny, Honey," Lukman screamed.  Heard it from Lukman.  Rena's face became even more sullen.

Not wanting to make Rena angry with Lukman again, he then said, "Yes, we will go.  But tonight, let your feet heal a bit first."  After hearing Lukman's words, Rena's face returned to normal, and was no longer sullen.

"Okay.  Beware of lying!"  Rena warned who was then given a head shake by Lukman.  Rena, who was still looking at Lukman, spoke again, "You didn't go to work today?"

"No," replied Lukman, shaking his head.

Rena's brows furrowed, it's not usually Lukman's day off on Mondays.  "Why?  Isn't it the schedule to leave today?"

The question from Rena made Lukman smile faintly.  "Oh ... apparently you've been paying attention to me, huh?  I'm glad to know," said Lukman.  Instantly, Rena's eyes widened.  Rena was confused about what to explain to Lukman.

"Well, you don't need to find excuses, dear Rena," said Lukman, teasing Rena.

Rena clenched her hands in the air.  "Why are you being so annoying, anyway?  Yes, not because I often observe you, Mas.  It's just that I see the date every day, so I know when you leave and not," explained Rena nervously.  Lukman just smiled after hearing Rena's answer.

"Miss, please prepare warm milk and toast, okay?" Lukman exclaimed as he turned to the household assistant who passed by the dining table.

 "Yes, Sir," replied the housekeeper.

"For who?"  Suddenly Rena threw another question to Lukman.

"For you," replied Lukman, which made Rena wonder, because Rena didn't ask and was already full.

"I didn't say I wanted it.  Besides, I'm already full," Rena objected, rejecting the milk and toast that the housekeeper would make.
