chapter five~ stormy day

Izzy p.o.v

I wake up to a storm of rain and lightning. I try to get up to hide but can't. Baby you ok? I look over to see Xander and remember everything that happened earlier today. N-no th-the l- lightning. I shutter. I watch the realization hit him to the point he almost fell out of the bed. Shit! I'm so sorry baby I didn't know it was storming. Here let me go and shut the curtains. Xander says with panic and guilt. The good thing about Xander is that he's been around my whole life so he knows I'm scared of lightning. He goes to close the the curtains but I grab his arm really quick. D-don't g-go j-just s-stay w-with m-me. I shutter my grip on his arm tightens. Baby I'll be right back I'm just going to the window to close the curtains I promise. He says before going to the window to close the curtains. I crawl under the blankets for shelter. I'm back baby you can come out now. Xander says. I crawl out form under the blankets and crawl onto Xander's lap. With me not seeing the lightning anymore I get to business. You are going to move in to my room and sense I can't see any one better for the job you will stay the beta. Meaning you will not be known as alpha but as my mate and beta. Understood Xander. I say before kissing his Mark. Yes alpha but I do have one problem. He say in a joking manner. What is it beta. I ask. You are sleeping in another man's bed instead of mine. He says trying to keep a serious face. I roll my eyes at him. This is my brother's room and you know it so you can leave if you don't like that I'm in my brother's room and sleeping in his bed because I miss him and him being here to comfort me beta. With that I wipe my tears from my eyes and look in to Xander's Forest green eyes and smash my lips to his. I lick his bottom lip asking for entry which he denied because he was so deep in thought. So I read his mind. Cat never had such mood swings. She never went from crying to kissing me. With that I growl and pull away from Xander and walk out of the room to mine. Mate still Hong up on cat Izzy. Rosie wimpers. I know Rosie it hurts me to. I say in a sad tone. He marked us and is thinking of cat. Rosie says in anger. Ya but we are gona show him its not ok. I say and then tell her my plan. What do you think. I ask Rosie. It's perfect Izzy. Rosie says. I know ok by Rosie. I say. Ok by Izzy and have fun. Rosie says. Oh I will. I say. When I'm in my room I lock the door and go to my dresser and grab some clothes and a towel. I walk to my bathroom and get in the shower. 15 minutes later I put on my clothes for the day. I had on a red top and a denim skirt. Then I found the hair dye I bought a few weeks ago it was blonde. I dyed my hair blonde. When I came out I looked at myself in the mirror and the blond hair match with my light blue eyes perfectly. I went to the window and see if it's still storming and it's not so I can go out.



I unlocked my bedroom door and opened it and headed downstairs to the kitchen. When I got there Xander was at the breakfast bar eating spaghetti my mom made for lunch. I went to the cupboard and grabbed a cup and plate then I put some of the spaghetti on the plate then the milk out and pored some in my cup then I got myself a fork and put on my plate full of spaghetti. Then I walked to the front room and put my food on the coffee table then I turn on the TV to Disney Channel where Ravens home was playing. You dyed your hair? Xander asked from behind me. I hurry to finish eating so I can leave. I get up and grab my keys to my dark blue Lamborghini. I got my driver's license at 15. I go to open the door when Xander grabs my wrist I know it's him from the tangles that's going up and down my arm. I turn around to face him. We're are you going? He asks with a bit of sadness properly form me ignoring him almost all day. To go get fucked by some random human teenage boy who isn't hung up on there ex girlfriend. I say with anger lacing my voice I can tell Rosie is showing. I rip my wrist form his hold and say. I don't care if you are my mate don't touch me. Izzy way are you acting like this? He asks me with hurt in his voice. We marked each other I can read your mind. So go back to cat and be happy with her not having mood swings because she is not a alpha. I say then walk out the front door. I hop in my car and start the car and start going to town. Here's the plan I told Rosie.

* Step one: tell Xander that I'm going out with other boys

* Step two: go find a bar

* Step three: stay at bar for two to three hours

* Step four: have just one drink so I'm still sober

* Step five: start making out with some random human guy when I smell Xander's sent of cookies and cream

This is my five Step pay back on Xander. After 17 minutes of diving I have found a bar. It's called the moon sine. I Step in and see that the bar tender is a wolf from my pack named Joe. Hey Joe I need one shot of beer. Oh and Joe I don't want no one to know I'm here. I'm kind of getting pay back on Xander for thinking about his ex after we marked each other. He looks at me for a minute before answering. Yes alpha. How can I help. I'm disappointed in the future beta for marking his mate then thinking of his ex. He says. So I tell him the plan.

Three hours later....

I smell Xander coming so I look around for a human guy. I see one guy who has blonde hair and brown eyes. I tap his shoulder and say. Hey hot stuff let make out. He eyes me up and down before saying. Sure. We start to make out. Then I can feel Xander's presents behind me so I pull away from the human guy to get some air. Then Xander taps me on the shoulder. So I turn to see him glaring at the human guy. The human runs to the other side of the bar. Izzy come with me please I'm sorry. He he Beggs. Please tell me you ran here. I say looking at his lips. GET YOUR SLEF TO GETHER IZZY YOUR MAD AT HIM. I look up to his eyes after my pep talk. Ya I ran here why? He asked as I pull him out of the bar. Because I had one drink and can't drive. I say unlocking my car and tossing the keys to Xander. Ok. Is all he said before getting in the car.
