chapter seventeen ~ party time

Zoe and I are at the mall to buy us dresses for Xanders birthday he is turning 18 tomorrow. But we are having a party for the pack tonight. Then we are having party just for friends and family tomorrow. So here we are looking for dresses for the party. The theme of the party is beauty of summer. We walk in to dresses and such and I see the most beautiful dress iv ever seen in my life.

It was this dark green dress with a jam belt. It was just beautiful. Zoe comes back with a baby blue dress that has jems on it. We go to the cashier and pay for the dresses. Once we are done we head back to the packhouse. We have already have the other stuff we need in our room.

It has been 3 hours and the party is gonna start in a hour. Me and Zoe are now getting ready for the party. I put on my dark green dress I bought today and some dark green high heels. I do natural looking makeup the put my hair in a princess updew









Once I'm done I start to put my makeup away. When I herd a sound. I turn around to see my dad standing there. Hey daddy I was hoping you would stop by. How's willow been treating you. Oh and when you go back can you tell I say thanks for giving Zoe to me as a mate. I say it has Been awhile since I saw my dad.

Jade I know it's been awhile and all and I will make sure to tell willow that. But that's not why I'm here. Willow sent me to to tell you that with the war that is coming Zelda will die and you are to take over as head witch and that. So you can finally get rid of all dark magic. Dad says so he's not here to see how I'm doing.

I understand daddy but I'm a gamma now I can't leave my responsibilities. And Zoe won't what to leave the pack so how em I supposed to become the head witch. If I can't leave my mate. I say trying to talk to my dad a little more.

Willow said that you will be able to stay in the pack if you take un claimed land by the pack for the coven. Oh and your mother said to tell that she misses you and loves you. Dad says make sense.

Bye daddy see you next time. I say and turn to the door and open it to see Zoe getting ready to knock on the door. She was wearing the dress she bought earlier some baby blue heels and natural looking makeup. And her hair up in a half up half down Style.









Hey you ready to go? Zoe ask but I can't say a word so I just nod my head. She just looks breth taking. I don't think I'm gonna be able to focus on any thing else.we walk to the party room. Once we got to the party room we walk up to Izzy and Xander. Hey guys. I say as I grab a sauger cookie from the table.

We go to the dance floor and dance. Then we head to the snack bar and grab some snacks and some punch. About a half an hour later Izzy is bringing the cake out with the candle. We all sing Happy Birthday to Xander. Xander gets the first slice since it is his birthday cake. Once we all finish our cake it's time for presents. Why me and Zoe was at the Mall we got Xander a gift each. I got Xander a wolf pendant that he can pin on his shirt. Zoe got him a customized hat that says best beta ever.

We didn't have to worry about letting the cat out of the bag. The cat being the secret about werewolves. The person who works there is a werewolf so he had no problem doing this small thing for Xander. I had Xander my gift. He opens it and thanks me. He then opens Zoe's. He told her thank you and Izzy hands him hers. Just as he goes to open the present someone screams
