chapter twenty one ~ scavenger hunt

Xander called me and told me to meet him in his office. I'm on my way over to see what he needs once I get into the his office I think he's not in there but I do c a envelope with my name on it. I go to the desk and pick up the envelope and open it. The letter in the envelope read.

Today you'll be going on a scavenger hunt to find me here's your first clue I have all types of flowers and a statue of the pride of wolves.

Xander

Ok looks like I'm going on a scavenger hunt to find Xander. I think that the clue means the garden. I walk out the back door to the garden and go to the statue of the moon goddess. On the statue there's another envelope I pick it up and read it. The letter in the envelope says.

I am where the gammas rests their heads at night. Where most of the parties and celebrations are held.

This clue is easy it's the packhouse in the party room. I get in my car and drive to the packhouse. Once I get there I go inside I run into Jade. Hi Jade. I say to her and she just nods and walks out. I head down to the party room. When I walk in I see the envelope on the table on top of a box. I walk over to the table and take the envelope and open it. It read.

I'm a friend and high-ranking member but I'm not the most powerful. I'm always last and never say anything because I'm loyal to my Alpha. open the box and put on my gift

I open the Box and I see a wolf necklace I put it on real quick. Then I think over the clue. This clue is harder but I think it means Alex my Delta. I head up to the delta room. I knock on the door and Alex answers. Hi Izzy I'm sure you're here for the envelope Xander gave me. He says and hands me the envelope. I open the envelope and it reads.

I'm were you used to make chocolate chip cookies with Xavier. I'm hiding in a bag of sweet treats that are very sweet.

This clue is obviously the packhouse kitchen. Thanks Alex. I tell Alex and then head downstairs to the kitchen. Once I'm down there I look at the table the envelopes not there. Then I remember the second part of the clue so I go to the cupboard and look for a bag of sweet treats. The only bag of sweet treats I found was animal crackers. I take the animal crackers out of the cupboard. I open up the bag of animal crackers to see the envelope. I take the envelope out of the animal crackers and put the crackers back. I open the envelope and it reads.

You are almost at the end just two more clues. I'm where the pups play. I'm surrounded by dirt. I'm on the high peak of the Tower.

This is obviously the play ground. I head outside to the playground that the pups like to play on. I head to the Tower. Once I'm at the tower I claimed all the way to the top. And there the envelope was. There was a box next to it I read the letter in the envelope and it reads.

This is the last clue to find me when you're done reading the clue put on the outfit I chose just for you. I'm where the the sun shines on the water surface. I'm where you and your brother used to watch the sunset.

Ok there is a lot of places me and Xavier watched the sun set but there is only one that had a source of water he Lake. I open the Box to see a beautiful outfit. Dial that consisted of a black top with roses and a denim skirt.



I put them on and head to the lake. When I get there I see a beautiful picnic by the Lake. There are fairy lights hung up in the trees. The picnic food is on a black blanket. Right next to the picnic basket there's roses and a box of chocolate. When I look over I see Xander leaning on a tree smirking. He walked over to me. Xander what is this? I asked. Just something I whipped together we've been so busy preparing for that war. Now that it's over we can finally have some fun. He says smiling I leaned up and smash my lips onto his.

We walk over to the picnic basket and he hands me the flowers and the back box of chocolates. He starts to unpack the picnic basket. There was strawberries some steak some apples. There were all different types of cookies there was chocolate chip, sugar, oatmeal, peanut butter and pumpkin. I got a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie and start munching on it. Then I eat some steak and still some strawberries off Xanders plate.

All of a sudden Xander gets up and walks over to what looks like a radio and turn it on. Love Story by Taylor Swift comes on. Xander walk back over to me. Izzy you used to know me as your brother's best friend. But now you know me as your mate and beta. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. To raise our pups with you. To help you with the pack when things get tough. To be with you through thick and thin. Xander says as he gets on one knee and pulled out a box with a ring in it.

Izzy will you make me the happiest wolf in the world and marry me? Xander asked me I put my hand over my mouth in Surprise. By the looks of the Ring he got a moonstone ring. A moonstone is a stone that's very important werewolves. That's why most engagement rings werewolves buy for their mates are moonstone. Yes Heavens yes! I yell out of happiness. This is the happiest day of my life I am now engaged to my mate and beta.
