Don't Jump Head-on Into A Big Risk

Mr. Hokama arrived shortly after Hisaki and Heisuke finished the shaved ice. He was a man in his mid-fifties with average facial features yet, his whole vibe was a calm one.

Mr. Hokama was a widower who lost his wife to a terminal illness more than a decade ago. Until now, he had yet to remarry.

The kind-looking middle-aged man was truly a benevolent boss to his subordinates. He didn't mind answering Heisuke's questions when the latter inquired more about handling a beverage booth.

When Mr. Hokama started doing business three decades before, he opened a snacks and beverage booth. He had all the advice that Heisuke could get.

The three of them just sat at the table where the couple enjoyed the shaved ice.

Although the beverage stall was just a small business for one day, Mr. Hokama did his best to encourage Heisuke to try operating it.
