Tragedies at sea

Just before the end of Kate's instructions, thunder storms had started, the entire atmosphere was covered with darkness, they managed to make their way with touch light and the lightening from the thunder storms.

While the darkness lingered, there came a ferocious noise like that of hundred of wolves gathered in their packs. This sound continued into the dark. As Mr. Tonga and Vindo were having a friendly discussion, a tiny-like reptile crept into their ship.

 "Hey Tonga, see. What a beautiful reptile this is!, said Vindo. They held the reptile in admiration.

 "Stop! Throw it into the sea. It is dangerous. That is anagroda, it can enlarge itself", shouted Timbo from a distance. But before he could complete his statement the reptile had enlarged itself swallowed Vindo and Tonga and went into the Sea.

They are now in the Pendagodian Sea, a terrible sight to behold.

"Everybody please be very, very careful", said Kate. "This is the Pendagodian Sea", she concluded.

They are now ashore and the darkness had disappeared.

Timbo was testing a sample of fluid he extracted from one of the reptiles. He noticed a strange reaction under his micro scope- the fluid was capable of infecting its host and replicating itself with a poisonous substance. The host was also able to transfer this virus to another person thereby multiplying it. The only solution to stop this multiplication is to kill the affected person.

 "Hello Timbo", greeted Mikon one of the scientists. Hi Mikon, Timbo replied. We seem to have a problem here. Just found that the reptiles here are very dangerous. Any infected person is gone. Only one option: kill him or he gets the rest infected and fights back at others. These reptiles are way down in the muddy swamp in this island. Go tell Kate to instruct the men to cover their feet with the foot gear".

Out on the shore, Hyford and Decort were having a nice time taking a walk by the shore, when suddenly they started sinking. "Help! Help!" They cried.

Others rushed to the scene, but the two had been covered by the mud. After five minutes, they were let loosed by the mud. But the deed had been done-they had been infected.

"Everybody go out, out" shouted Timbo. They've been infected by the poison". He aimed at the two men and killed them.

"What a hell have you done? You've just killed our men" said Losando. "If I do not kill them, they will fight back at us, transfer the fluid to us and we will all be dead". Losando refused to get along with Timbo. They almost fought each other but for the intervention of Kate who explained the danger of not killing the infected victims.

Five men continued their journey into the land of the Unknown. They had left the Pendagodian Sea heading to the Mongolian Sea. The night caught up with them again and this time it's raining heavily. They had suddenly lost control of their ship. It had developed an engine problem. They tried all they could do and finally they succeeded in putting the engine in order.

Back at home, scores of lives were affected: death occurring and injuries to lives on the increase as this creature lavished his anger on the people.

"How long are we going to wait for Kate and her men? It has been seven days they left", said the King.

The King was worried, his people were dying and there was nothing he could do. People were no longer going to work, farmers had deserted their farm land, and both local and state police were overwhelmed with the issue.

At Sea, Kate and four other men had successfully got to the Mendelian Sea " Yes, we made it!, exclaimed Jack, one of the scientists. At the exclamation of Mr. Jack, came the Pirot, a deadly flying creature that only reacts to sound and never misses it target. This creature has eyes but only sees with sound. It sees things the moment that thing makes a noise. Unfortunately, Jack became a victim.

"Come", whispered Kate to the three men. This is pirot, the deadly sound bird. We must at this time resort to the use of sign language. According to the map, the boiling water is not very far away from here".

She beckoned on them to follow her and that nobody should talk. They gradually walked into the Island of the Unknown. The surrounding areas to the boiling water were below hundred degrees Celsius- freezing point. They all put on a thick jacket, with their lighter on and an ice boot. The Pirot bird guided the way to the boiling water. They quietly and gently fetched the boiling water. But it must not drop at the freezing area. Kate signals this information to them. As they made their way out of the freezing point, Mr Tombiz missed his step and consequently hitting Mr. Timbo who was holding the boiling water. Timbo staggered to a fall, but didn't. However, this action caused a drop of the solution. This drop caused an outrage and a sound blast of the ice.

 Kate and Migga were ahead of Timbo and Tombiz. The Pirot bird had been triggered by the sound of the blast, hundreds of them are after Timbo and Tombiz. They ran at a zigzag manner to maintain their balance and to confuse the Pirots from getting at them. The water can containing the boiling water was with Timbo, as they ran, he passed it on to Tombiz. As Timbo got it back, he tried passing it on to him but this time, it fell off his hand as he fell on the ice. The Pirots had perched on him as he struggled to hold on to the water can. Tombiz came to rescue but could do little or nothing. Both struggled for life as they had been badly wounded by the birds. As one of the birds took the water can and was about to fly out, Kate suddenly showed up and fired the gaseous substance into the air, with their nose mask on.
