• In the ml carriage pov •
On a dirt road with so many trees and bamboo, you can see a wooden carriage who have a ordinary coachman and a man in ordinary cloth also but his face didn't show dirt and muddy that stick in his complexion instead a handsome cold expression can be seen.
" it has been years since I left the empire with a useless emperor ruling on it who is always locked himself in the Imperial chamber when disaster is coming, and since I am now coming back I will take that throne and lead the empire with mindful judgment. " the handsome man thought with a smirk on his face.
" master we have almost arrived at the empire we just need another or couple more hours to get ther... " the coachman said before cutting his sentence when a huge bolder fell from the top, making me jump backwards away from my seat.
looking up I then see an eagle, a very big eagle who is again carrying a huge rock and after the eagle drops the rock I then prepare my right arm and punch it with my full force making the impact throw me to a nearby tree.
" master are you alright! " the coachman then shout and came running towards me.
" yeah... " I shortly said before spitting the blood that is now inside my mouth.
" looks like someone is targeting me or it's just a hostile divine beast wandering around protecting his or her territory. " I thought hard in my mind before I hear a groan making me snap.
" aghh... master looks like we might need to walk on foot since the two horses got escaped when the eagle attacked. " the coachman said and hearing it made me irritated.
and just like that the two give up and walk toward the empire's dirt road since they do not want the night to catch up to them because of the dangerous forest just beside them.
while the two are struggling, amin on the other hand, got a reward from her host who is in a good mood while working on the paperwork.
[ divine beast - in this world divine beast exists that is rarely seen because of their habitat that is on the very dark end of the forest or a dangerous one so that's why when adventures go to the pit of the forest when hunting or collecting rare or unique materials they must be on a huge group if not you will be the one to be a feast for them to eat and leave nothing behind even your bones will not be forgiven. ]

On a peaceful morning in the empire palace, a shout can be heard making all of the soldiers doing their patrol duty startled and run from the scene where they find a crying maid who is on the floor screaming and a huge eagle who is standing looking down on them and after a couple of seconds they then composed their self before they surround the creature while their spears are pointing at it.
just then they heard a shout on their back making them turn around where they see the emperor walking towards them with a calm expression.
" your majesty please back away or this creature might suddenly attack you. " a male soldier said while his eyes never look back on the fearless creature in front of him.
" stop this instant and drop your weapon. " the emperor commanded before walking towards the large eagle.
" bu...but your majesty. " a soldier then protest before he back away scared after he notices the glare of the emperor.
" ready a bowl full of meat jerky in my study. " the emperor suddenly commanded a servant who is following her earlier, after the servant hear the emperor's command she just bows and left.
" and also amin please don't make a sudden arrival inside the imperial garden where all servant work. " quin scold before amin nod like a little bird who is pouting and sure she did transform herself into a little bird that can be eaten whole by a cat just like that she then fly up and just rest her small bird body into quin's head like a nest making all of the people around then gasp in surprise because of bird's actions.

• imperial gate pov •
finally arriving at the imperial gate late at night and also exhausted, I and my coachman then continue a small walk towards the gate where there are two lines for people on the left while the right side is all carriages.
and after waiting for a whole hour I am now in front of a gate guard who has a spear in his left hand a shield in the right and an extra sword on his waist making him a person who you must not underestimate with since with all his armour carrying on his body sure is not easy.
" gate pass, family pendant and if you don't have all what I was asking ten copper silver for the entrance fee. " the guard said to me straight on the face.
I just nod and give him twenty copper silver because of a coachman beside me and just like that we have finally stepped in on the empire who is now suddenly different from all the years past.
while quin on the other hand has a good time watching the ml and working with her paperwork before a knock unexpectedly heard on the other side making quin smile.
" come in. " she said softly.
Just then a beautiful women who is wearing a red silk dress creating a seductive look on it.
" your majesty you sure are in a good mood. " the female said before kissing quin on the cheeks and resting her head on the emperor's shoulder.
" And you sure are bold tonight yang. " quin said before receiving a hummed on yang and after hearing her future empress hummed she then continue to brush her brush pencil on a golden scroll who have dragon designs on the bottom.
while in the other side of the room amin can be seen happily eating her meat jerky on the luxurious table.
