Chapter Ninety Five

Mercy finished all she had to do and even made sure she did what could be asked of her later so that her absence would not be missed greatly and then got ready to leave for Felix house.

Mary had been watching Mercy since she framed Felix. Apart from the night that she had cried her eyes out and being moody for part of the next day, she hadn't shown any signs of depression.

She was acting as though losing Felix was not really a big deal. But she could have sworn that her virgin elder sister was madly in love with Felix. She was not getting enough satisfaction from setting Felix up for the fall if it wasn't affecting Mercy. All the trouble she went through had definitely been in vain.

And Felix does not wish to see her anymore. The last time she went there, Felix had been so angry that he had humiliated her with people watching and making fun of her. She had taken consolation in the fact that she had separated him from her elder sister, thereby causing the both of them pain.
