''When did this happen? When did you pack in? The last time we saw you were to meet with the agent and get your receipt after payment. You said there was no need for us to meet till you finalized with the property owners and I had been too busy with my exams and other things that I had totally forgotten about it. But you could have called to let me know', she protested. 


'What better way to tell you. than to show you? Actiions speak louder than words. Is that not how you say it? And I know how important this exam is to you and I didn't want to disturb you. Surely, showing this to you was more effective than telling you, don't you agree?' he asked mocking her playfully. 


'You must be hungry. Let's enjoy the snack we bought on our way here', he said unwrapping then and placing them in a tray on the table.
