The last person I need to give a gift to is Caiden because his other cousin's graduation day came first. His graduation came last. I am so proud of him because he also excelled in his studies. He graduated from Philippine Military Academy, and he was one of the graduates with higher ranks. He wants to join the Navy.
"Congratulations, Caid!" I happily greeted Caiden and hugged him.
He laughed and hugged me too. "Thank you, Lucilla."
We parted from the hug. I am also happy for Caiden. Even as a child, he really liked things related to the military. I know he will be a reasonable officer in the future. It is guaranteed that no matter what case he needs to examine, he will be able to solve it because of his skills.
"Here..." I said and took out the long box that contained my gift to him.
He frowned, but there was amusement in his eyes. "What is that?" he asked.
"This is for you. My gift." I answered him and took his hand. I smiled at him. "Open it," I told him.
He laughed a little and took the box I gave him. Caiden opened it and smiled when he saw what was inside the box. He looked at me with a happy smile on his lips. I also smiled, took the rosary bracelet from the box, and put it on his wrist.
"I know that the profession you entered is dangerous, so I know it will protect you," I told him. I caressed it and smiled at him. "Always pray, Caiden, because you really need that in your work so that He will always save you from harm and you can do your work properly."
He smiled sweetly at me, held my cheek, and caressed it with his finger. "How thoughtful! You're such a sweet young lady," he said sweetly.
I smiled at him. "Thank you. I will keep this," he said and showed the bracelet. "And I will keep what you've said in mind,"
I smiled at him. "It's nothing, Sir!" I told him, which made him laugh.
We all celebrated at Hacienda Paraiso, the beautiful land of the Griffins. I already told Daddy about this trip. Since I am already part of the Griffin family, they let me come with them. We will go on vacation to their province.
Daddy approved of it since I would only stay for a week at the Griffins before I went to Paris to visit my mother. Daddy will follow soon.
"Be careful there, Anika." said daddy when we said goodbye to him.
"Don't worry, Uncle. We'll be careful there." Luciana assured my father.
"I promise I'll take care of them, Uncle," Lucian told my father. I am happy that Lucian is close to my father.
Daddy smiled at Lucian. I know he trusts Lucian. "Thank you, children. Be careful on your vacation," said daddy.
Luciana and I hugged him. "You too, dad. I'll miss you," I said to dad and kissed him on the cheek. Lucian also hugged Daddy, and we finally said goodbye.
We are all very excited about going to Hacienda Paraiso or Paradise. That place is so beautiful, and that place is so peaceful that you just want to live there. That place is breathtaking!
I love visiting the place not just because of its magnificent view but mainly because their Lucian grandparents were very caring and accommodating there.
While I have been part of the Griffin family, I have also become close to Lola Angela and Lolo Luciano, grandparents of the Griffins. Even Tito Gregorio, Lucian's uncle, who stays with the oldies, is very kind. I also met Kuya Grey, one of Lucian's cousins who grew up in the Hacienda. He looks exactly like Uncle Greg.
I enjoyed my entire vacation at Hacienda Paraiso with all of them. I am delighted in these moments. I am very grateful to all of them because I became a part of their loving and happy family.
