The glaring sunlight shone on Ian's face as he stepped out of the passage, causing him to narrow his eyes.
He then noticed a tiny figure near the shore at a distance.
Ian approached that tiny figure...He already guessed who it could be.
'As expected...entering the ruins requires being a pure human.' Ian thought as he looked at the White-haired man in front of him.
But as he looked at Rue and The Sun, he became perplexed by something else.
"Can a half-vampire stay outside in the sun?" Ian inquired.
Rue, who also noticed Ian, stared at him for a moment before giving a perfunctory reply.
"I can stay outside in the sun because I'm a half-vampire...Wait! you know I am a vampire? "
Rue was bewildered by this; That was supposed to be a closely guarded secret only known by few.
He then looked at Ian with suspicion...
'Who is this guy, and ...what are his origins ?' Rue was perplexed after some thought.
Most Secrecy families consider ruins like this to be top-secret locations.
So, why did a stranger he'd never met or heard of invite Asher to these ruins; and even request him to bring a few trusted people with him!?... Isn't that disclosing the location of the ruins to others?
'This guy is dangerous...' Rue can't believe how stupid he was until now; he should have given it some serious thought when he heard 'Oath Of Od' from Asher...
Ian also noticed rue's weirdness, but he wasn't in the mood to think about it any further.
But, to avoid raising suspicions with Rue, Ian decided to explain any way...
"Those two may take a few hours to arrive because they are receiving an inher-." Before Ian could finish his sentence, he noticed someone approaching them from the direction of the ruins...
Rue; looked in that direction as well; because of him being a Vampire, his senses were very sensitive from birth... allowing him to see every little detail on that person's face even though he was hundreds of meters away.
' As expected of the Protagonist... ' Ian let out a depraved laugh as he stared at aeric.
Other paths' inheritance differs from Fifth Path's; Those inheritances are of knowledge, and the Mind would need a long time to sort out the Forcefully imparted memories and knowledge.
'This guy is an absolute monster...' Ian may not know why he wrote something that was happening in reality But... he knew one thing for certain; Aeric... is the pinnacle of talent in the entire novel.
At any given point in the story, no one has greater talent or potential than aeric, even until he gave up writing in the middle.
Aeric didn't say anything after approaching them instead, he sat in a tree shade and began to meditate.
Ian also cleared his mind of these irrelevant thoughts and carefully examined his mental space...
Apart from the occasional splashes of water; caused by rue, the entire island was enveloped in a strange silence.

"That ruin was incredible! I am confident that I will reach Purple grade by the end of this week!" Asher declared, his face beaming with delight.
Rue's eyelids twitched, but he simply clenched his teeth and stared out the window.
When Asher saw Rue's strange behavior, he smirked mischievously and began annoying him.
Aeric ignored these people and stared at Ian.
'That's odd...why do I get the impression he's stronger now?' Aeric gave Ian a puzzled look, which Ian quickly noticed.
"Do you need something? " Ian enquired; He could guess what Aeric was thinking of...
A Mind Practitioner can detect another person's stage and grade if his grade is higher than the other person.
However, because Ian is already at Green Grade and Aeric is still only at Orange Grade ... it would be impossible for Aeric to perceive Ian's actual strength.
" Nothing," Aeric replied, closing his eyes to continue his meditation.
"Wait for a second...what is that?" Rue voiced out; as he stared at a glowing spot in the sky far away.
Everyone looked at rue for a moment, puzzled, before looking out of the window...
"That's...Fuc*k, everyone crouch !" Asher shouted as he noticed a glowing sword approaching the helicopter.
Everyone on the helicopter quickly crouched down when they heard asher's warning and the upper half of the helicopter was cut in half by the Golden sword.
"What was that?" As he stared at the cut part of the helicopter, Aeric expressed his confusion.
But nobody present answered his question...
Instead; Asher pulled something bizarre and spherical out of his pocket in hurry, and a strange spherical barrier appeared around the helicopter to keep them from being drawn into the air by pressure difference.
Ian was too busy to even care about aeric's question... he was currently extremely tense staring at the glowing dot that was getting closer.
'The helicopter is currently flying at 6000 feet above sea level...' After contemplating for a moment Ian started to frown.
Rue, who was inspecting the leftover golden power on the helicopter, gasped.
His pupils dilated and he clenched his teeth.
"This...Holy power?! That must be a Heaven's Apostle from 'Church of True Light!' " Rue gazed at the golden dot that was getting nearer with disgust.
At that moment, Ian sighed and began looking for his bag.
" No...he isn't just a simple Apostle... That guy can fly." Ian stated indifferently.
Rue and Asher exchanged puzzled glances... Before, their faces were filled with terror.
"Someone above Mortal Stage? This is bad!!" Asher began to panic, and a golden ring fell from his pocket in his disarray.
Ian peeked at the ring and grabbed it before beginning to scrutinize it.
"Asher...where did you get this ring?" Ian tried to sound as calm as possible, but everyone present noticed the chilly tone hidden in his voice.
"Ugh...inside the ruin, Is...Is there a problem? " Asher started to notice that something was wrong with ian.
Ian didn't reply; But started Thinking.
'As expected of the Son Of Fortune...finding this treasure in a place like this. '
Ian knew about this ring...This is called 'Vessal Of Faith' or also known as Holy Object by the Apostles from Heavenly realm's factions.
This ring enables a Heaven's Apostle to transfer the Power of Faith that he has collected from people through brainwashing or other methods... to an angel with whom he has made a contract with... in order to obtain its power for a while.
This Ring is also one of the most basic requirements for making a contract with an angel.
'But...why is this treasure hidden within the ruins?' Even Ian doesn't have any idea why...
'And there isn't much time left...' Ian glimpsed at the altimeter and sighed.
Currently, the helicopter is 3000 feet above sea level. They would have been swept away in the wind long ago if it weren't for the Artifact that Asher used to create an isolation bubble around the helicopter.
From his bag, Ian pulled out a cube, which he then began randomly pressing. After that, the cube began to float in front of him, and a small block on one side began to glow in blue.
The trio stared in disbelief as they observed this bizarre scene, but no one said anything.
As each second went by, the cube started to organize itself and more and more pieces started to glow in blue.
Soon, The entire cube turned blue and it suddenly grew in size to completely enclose the helicopter ...before vanishing along with it.
"Is that a spatial treasure, dammit!?" that Apostle from the Church of True Light mumbled before quickly turning around and leaving.
He thought he was lucky to find a holy object in this remote region... but his good fortune Faded as abruptly as it came.
