' Nothing changed... '
Ian looked around himself and found that everything was back to normal.
' Just how many times have I fainted already?' Ian let out a chuckle while thinking about it.
He didn't even want to count the number of times he fainted.
" That black and white world... It must be True Vision," muttered Ian.
Although he drank the potion intending to increase his awareness, he accidentally learned True Vision; while the potion was in effect.
Ian looked at the clock and heaved a sigh of relief; he had only fainted for two hours and still had some time before the lecture began.
He took a few more minutes to freshen up and change his clothes before looking in the mirror.
His pitch black eyes dilated and quickly turned an Ash grey color.
Unlike before, his entire vision did not change to black and white, and his surroundings retained a tinge of their original color.
The most noticeable thing in the mirror, however, is himself.
Ian's entire body emitted a constant stream of red light, making him appear like a red light bulb continuously radiating from his surroundings.
' Good... With this I can learn Emotion Reading soon '
Ian wasn't interested in Emotion Reading, since he didn't intend to become a Super Empath, but he reluctantly decided to learn it to complete the Set of Mind Reading Abilities.
He slid the mask from the desk onto his face and began walking out of his dorms.

______
.
" Now, did everyone understand about the properties? on to the next one, They found this Rune along with other Eight runes in an underground tunnel at Jordan valley."
Professor Medea- Ian's Runic Language professor continued to explain the origins of various Runes and their powers.
But Ian, who sat on one of the last benches, was preoccupied with something else and paid no attention to the class.
' Huuu... Let's give it another shot!'
His pupils became Ash gray again, and the entire world lost its color to him.
Unlike his previous attempt at the dorms, the entire classroom was practically blinding this time.
There are numerous sources of Red, Orange, and Yellow lights, as well as Green and Blue.
Perhaps because of the blinding light emitted by the students, or because he was still not proficient in using True vision, his eyes began to hurt after a few seconds, and his surroundings began to regain color.
'Wait... she's above the Mortal Stage!?'
While staring at the Runic Language teacher, Thought Ian in bewilderment.
It is not uncommon for a professor at this university to be above Mortal Stage, as Osiris is at the top of the pyramid in terms of Grade and Stage.
' What's her name again?... Medea Quade!?'
Ian recalled the professor's name and felt an odd sense of déjà vu.
He thought for a moment, But not finding the source of déjà vu, Ian shifted his focus to something else.
If He wasn't wrong, then learning Emotion Reading is simple with the help of True Vision.
'I should try it in a less crowded place...'
While Ian was thinking about what he should do next, his ears picked up on something interesting, and he turned towards Professor Medea once more.
She placed a watermelon-sized rock with strange patterns etched on it on the desk right beside her.
" Listen, students, this rock is what we call Rune Markings, Do you see these eight markings here? These are the eight runes that were etched onto it. Some Scientists Used carbon dating methods to find that this rock and the carvings on it were made at least 20,000 years ago..."
" 20,000 years... can we even imagine those times? All the most recent and significant developments in human history occurred within the last few hundred years."
"There are many people who encountered these rocks in the past, but most of them deemed them useless and only a few researched them."
"These rocks which are called worthless, and scribbles from humans of the stone age. But it's these worthless rocks that developed a whole new field of study in Mind Cultivation"
Professor Medea paused her speech and began to drink some water, looking at her watch to check the time.
" Okay, class... the lecture is over. Please remember to attend the History classes that begin next week; I am also your History Professor."
Most of the students gave perfunctory replies and started walking out of the lecture hall.
Except for Professor Medea and Ian, the lecture hall was empty after all the students left their seats and walked out.
Professor Medea took notice of Ian and fixed her gaze on him for a few moments.
" Is there anything you need?" asked the professor. Ian rose from his seat and began walking downwards.
" Professor... I am curious about something. You said about these... Rune Markings, right? That story's history appeared to be from a normal human perspective... What role do Mind practitioners play in all of this?"
When Ian asked this question, he sounded bewildered.
From the novel, Ian was aware of the 'Forgotten Age,' which encompassed anything older than 12,000 BC, and the 'Recordless Age,' which lasted from 12,000 BC to 7000 BC.
Ian knew about those two eras because the majority of the Artifact treasures date from that period.
" I'll tell you about it in History class next week. Do you have any other questions?" Professor Medea inquired casually while packing the rock...'Rune Marking' into a box.
Ian shook his head and expressed his thanks before walking out.
He doubted he could sleep soundly if this question remained unanswered, but Ian suppressed these irrational desires and began concentrating on how to learn Emotional Reading...
Ian would first require a Guinea pig to learn emotion reading.
At first, Ian considered trying to see through the emotions of ordinary university employees, but he had a better idea a moment later.
Ian walked to the back of the lecture halls and jumped into the sewer hole concealed between the trees, then changed into his second-year clothes from his backpack.
He walked in the direction of the Gifted Sector dorms after concealing his uniform clothes in a backpack...
Maybe it's a superstition, But Ian felt luckier when he was around Asher... Maybe leaching off his luck?
