Friendship adventures

Although Robin had sensed that one of the fears currently in the list of his deadliest fears might come true on his way, he was still hoping that there would be a possibility where Nora would deny all the claims of danger, running rampant in his mind. But on the contrary, he heard only a gleeful 'Yes' escaping from her mouth, that seemed to fly straight to him only to place a hard slap on his face. The excited confirmation from Nora's end made him remember that she was the daughter of an enemy! The enemy whom he was supposed to stay away from- not for the sake of his safety, but for hers!

So the moment he was hit by the sweet and happy 'yes', he grabbed Nora by her elbow, trying to make her see what was so evident to him.

"No matter how smart you are in academics, it feels to me like you have taken an oath to be the dumbest Princess I shall ever interact with -"

"Umm, excuse me, mister! What are you trying to say here - "

"That. You. Are. Not. To. Mention. Any. Of. Our. Friendship. Adventures. In. Front. Of. ANY. One!! Is that clear?"

Robin spoke, interrupting Nora once again while putting extra emphasis on each word as if he was convinced Nora needed to hear the slowed down version of it to retain it in her memory. He intercepted her again just when she tried to protest, and added ;

"Now, I am taking you to Romera, and you will tell your father that you and I are not friends. In fact, we have never ever been friends, so when he told you to invite me, you were left with no option but to go to Romera -"

"But why!?"

"Nora!"

Robin pretended to get angry, as she relented initially, while adding her condition at the end.

"Okay fine, but you have to tell me the reason later?"

He sighed dramatically before opening the door and tugging her along ;

"Alright, done! Now let's move fast, before he himself heads towards us -"

"But I doubt he would head towards us, at all. Because he was headed towards the office along with Louis' father, and asked me to come here -"

"Regardless of that, we can't take any risks, we have to be cautious!! Come with me."

Robin cut her off yet again and the two of them were in the corridors now, as he was practically dragging her towards Romera's office even though his approach was completely gentle; the only difference was that now he was leading her by the hand, and not the elbow.

And while they were busy in their own drill, they did not even notice the two sets of eyes staring at them and fuming bitterly from inside.

Frederick and Francisco were immersed in a conversation, once again discussing the situation and offering opinions on what they were supposed to do now. Because despite them being assured that Nora was not going to stay in the hostel after the meeting earlier that day, Frederick was still being paranoid about the ultimate outcome. Not knowing the complete facts, Francisco was finding this behaviour cute, thinking that it was all stemming from his immense love for his only daughter.

Shortly thereafter, though, he remembered the news he had heard, regarding Nora's twin who was currently studying overseas, and asked ;

"Frederick, I know you are still tense about Nora's situation. And it may not be the best time to ask this question, but what about your son? The other twin, don't you think you are highly biased when it comes to both your kids, and he can probably mind this as -"

The moment Frederick had heard the first word out of his friend's mouth, he knew the destination this conversation was heading towards. And from that point on, he had started searching for the sentences that could be said in the defense.

But the only problem with telling lies, is that you are either a complete professional or a newbie at it. If you don't have a pre- designed set of mapped out stories ready with you for a prolonged lie, you will always end up creating a custom made disaster for yourself.

Lacking the blueprint of the lies told by him so far, Frederick was about to do the same with this situation, when the topic was momentarily halted when both of them heard the voice of Louis, who was there with Nora. They could see Romera going back into her office, as Louis spoke up.

"Umm, dad! I think both of you had asked her to invite her friends, but I don't think she has been able to find many friends as of yet. The Matthews still see her as an enemy who would stand against them in the Arena, totally ignoring the fact that first it would be her twin brother and not she, herself! But moving on to the Hollands, Ryan is good but I doubt he has any interest in talking to us. So she was going to approach Romera in order to ask for her assistance, and I found her and brought her back. Or else, she would have ended up in the boys dorm."

"Boys' dorm!"

Both Frederick and Francisco spoke at once, knowing that even though they were standing within the premises of the school, and that Nora's status of a Princess made her more powerful than most of the students living in the dorm, they still could not fathom the consequences of her entering the boys' dorm. The area was not only off limits to the female wolves because of gender, but it was cordoned off by means of spells also!

But before they could have thought any further, the collective attention was attracted by Ryan, who had just arrived on the spot, seemingly out of nowhere.

"Umm! Louis, I am sorry for listening to whatever you have just mentioned. I didn't exactly mean to eavesdrop, but I couldn't really help myself after I heard my own name being mentioned. And for your information, I want to correct a misunderstanding you seem to have - because I really wanted to befriend Nora."

After finishing what he had to say to Louis, Ryan took a brief pause and began to speak with a wide smile on his face, knowing that David was looking at him from a distance where he would not only be able to notice all his activities, but could also hear him clearly.

"Hello Uncles! How was your day? I hope it was good."
