  By the time everything was done and I'd been with each of my hounds, my body was a quivering husk. I'd done it, it'd taken all three of their knots. But at least it hadn't all been at once. I think I would have fallen over dead if I had attempted that kind of feat.

  Raul chuckled and kissed my cheek. "Don't get too comfy. It's already morning," he teased me.

  Comfy? I was just appreciating being alive after all that. Yes, it felt amazing and out of this world, but it was like climbing the highest mountain or something. The thrill of survival is what had the goofy smile plastered on my lips.
