CHAPTER Nineteen

  I had been mentally preparing myself to tell Gracie the truth about me. I had also been preparing myself for her to run as soon as she knew the truth. And I honestly wouldn’t blame her if she did.

  “Did you bring something to sleep in” I asked.

  I thought it was best we get comfortable before I start talking because this could be a long night.

  “No, I brought everything else except that,” she laughed, “But you will give me something to sleep in, won’t you” she added, batting her lashes at me.

  “Do not bat your lashes at me, Miss Gracie,” I chuckled, “Because it will work every time.”

  She smiled brightly when I said that. I think she already knew that though; it doesn’t take much convincing for me to give her what she wants. I laughed, pecking her lips before going to find something for her to wear. I grabbed a tee and a pair of boxers, passing them to her.

  “Thank you, now turn away until I get changed,” she said, waggling her fingers at me.
