CHAPTER Twenty

  Gracie

“Gracie, it is time to wake up,” I hear Ryland’s soft voice whispering, and his warm lips pressing against mine.

I moaned softly, opening my eyes. I smiled when I was met with him looking at me, that beautiful smile painted on his lips. I reached up, running my fingers through his messy hair.

“Morning,” I said, “I don’t want to move. What time is it” I added, rubbing my eyes.

“Six-thirty,” he said, “We don’t need to move, we can just stay here and skip school,” he added.

“And how are we going to do that with your mom in the house And without the school letting our parents know that we have not shown up” I asked.

“Simple, my mom will go to work soon, and we can call into the school, pretending to be our parents,” he said, “They will never know the difference,” he added smiling brightly at me.
