　　Melissa and I have been up since six a.m. because we wanted to make Ryland a birthday cake and breakfast for when he gets up. I wanted to spoil him today. Not only because he deserved it, but because of everything he has done for me.


　　“Have you told him about the plans for the day” Melissa asked.


　　“Nope! I told him he needs to wait and see,” I laughed.


　　“And he didn’t pester you to tell him” she chuckled.


　　I had the entire day planned out. After breakfast, we were going-karting and then paintballing with our friends. We were meeting Melissa for lunch, and then the rest of the day and night was for only Ryland and I. I booked us into a hotel for the night and made a reservation in an Italian restaurant for dinner. Lastly, I had something special for him for our night together.


　　“Good, it will be better if it is all a surprise for him,” Melissa smiled.
