“That is the last of it,” I said and looked around.
The apartment was empty, well empty of our things. It was a little bittersweet. I will miss this place, but at the same time, I was excited to move to our new home.
“I can’t believe this is the last time we will be here,” Ryland replied as he glanced around.
I couldn’t believe the day had finally come. I was an emotional wreck. Not only because we are leaving this place. “Are you OK, beautiful” he asked.
“Yes, I know there has been a lot of bad memories in this town, but there has also been a lot of good ones,”
I sighed and rested back into his chest.
