　　I tried to argue with him about it, but he won in the end. I didn’t want him thinking that I wanted him for money and things because it wasn’t that.

　　We went back to join everyone else and get our work finished. In the end, it only took twenty minutes, and we had everything in the apartment somewhat sorted. I was in the bedroom, and Ryland came through.

　　“Yes, it already sort of feels like home.”

　　He rested his hands on my hips and brought me around to face him.
